New pics of THE HAWKMAN.

WIngs are fixed and can be removed.
Need to add some more shadow to it.

Yes the wings are from redemption Spawn I have noticed him mention it before and I believe the sculpt was a private commission he ordered

I think that my Hawkman is finally finished.

I tried some news wings, they are from the 6" alex ross hawkman figure!
They are a pretty good size and maybe a bit more proportionned that the other ones and they can spread wich is cool.

Btw, what types of paint you use to weather the fabrics?

Undeniably the best Hawkman I have ever seen. Just outstanding work. I do like the larger wings better actually.

I prefer the Spawn wings myself... It'd look cool with real feathered wings. If anyone could pull that off, it'd be you. Great work making characters I have no interest in owning look so cool!

I used the same techniqu as you except that I don't use an airbrush.
I paint everything with brushes and seal with a matte varnish from citadel(games workshop)

Seb, do you also paint the primer with a brush? And if so, wich primer do you use? I need a good primer for a full bodypaint

I'm afraid it will look goofy as hell.
I like the spawn one at first but the new one are better for posability and they look a bit more in scale IMO.

For the primer I used spray paint from tamiya.

Yeah, like I said, if anybody could pull it off, it'd be you. I usually prefer sculpted hair to rooted hair agree feathers could look more than odd. I think the Spawn ones have a certain grandiose, imposing look the others don't. Reminds me of Vultan from Flash Gordon. That's probably why I like it.

Still it's great work. One of my favorites I've seen from you! But then again, that's such a hard thing to decide so couldn't really say.

It was made out a flamma harness, i added the rivets and extra pieces on it.
You won't find anything existing that looks like this one.

Here's on what i have been working on lately.

A custom Jim Lee Batman body.

I wanted to body the be huge and bulky.

So here's what i have done.


Upper torso is from the maximum agression body.
I added some extention on the forearms to place new hands and made a custom neck piece.

Legs are from a dc direct figure and have been shortened by 3 centimeter and resculpted.

I then added a ball join in the ankle to allow more posability.

Here's some first shots, note that the torso isn't fixed on the legs yet.
