Everytime I'm fascinated, how you can use so many bits and put them together into one AMAZING piece! This is really inspiriting! (for me for example how to make Blade I vest!)

Really nice DREDD!!! And the best things is, that you not finished with him!!!

Thanks man, it's always a challenge gathering parts and put them together so that the figure look flawless.
I think the paint and weathering is what makes everything working together.

Really nice figure, wish the Movie went for more of the classic look, I've got Dredd Pieces here, difficult to decide which look to go for now

I think it's a good compromise between a comic book look and someting like a futuristic cop. I dig it

Went back from DREDD 3D, Seb. Watched it as promised.
Just want to share my opinion with you since we're discussing the style of the suit here.

I think this movie is one of the best action-moviez of 2012. Great plot without any holes, awesome characters, action non-stop spiced hard with awesome soundtrack and first time in the cinema history - 3D and slow-mo as solid plot element. Bravo! Brilliant. MUST WATCH... more and more. *___* Feels a little bit like War Zone Punisher, but more stylish and even more hardcore.

No, I DON'T like Prometheus. It's beautiful, no doubts, but it's extremely bad written, it's clumsy, stupid and it's trying to ruin Aliens series so hard. Me personally hate this movie.

No, I DON'T like TDK: Rises. This movie isn't bad, but it's much more weaker than previous two. I can see some massive lack of philosophy there, lack of style and it's ruining the main gains of B:B and TDK - realism and some special mood. I don't hate this movie , but it's just not so good as B:B and TDK, imho.

Also, I really liked The Cabin in the Woods. Highly recommended.
That's weird, TDK:R was my 2012 favourite before I watched it.

And back to the figure again. I really enjoyed those suits in the movie. They looks like hybrid of moto-cops suits, sappers armour and Batman. But imho it's way cooler than Batman. Did not expected that... And I really liked colours used, in black they are more like cops than military.
HotToys should do Dredd! No doubts.

Nice, I like the upgrade, but the 2008 version is pretty bad ass as well Elvis. Your Judge Dredd is also exceptional, the vest you found is practically identical to the movie.

Recently you mentioned some of your MGS customs in the Solid Snake interest thread, which led me to look them up. Man! They are killer! Where did you track down the gas mask you used for Pyscho Mantis (if you don't mind me asking)? You definitely nailed him on your second attempt (though both are awesome). Like you, I'd really like to see an unmasked sculpt done as well.

For Dredd actually the vest I found didn't looked like that at all.
I just used the mesh base and made the armored parts out of painted neoprene.


The head form Mantis come from an old resin kit I bought from ebay two years ago.
