god damn... SSF's emails stop coming and i miss the most important update of all - that dredd is jaw dropping...

makes me want to destroy something beautiful...

Which vest did you use and did you sculpt those pads on? Looking bloody jaw dropping!

This is the vest I used.

Removed all the pouches and straps on the front and added a zipper on the front too.

The front protections are made of thick neoprene material and painted black.

Pads is from the marcus wright jacket. Still need to make the other pad though.

I tiought about that but the mouth hasn't the right expression for Dredd.

I thought about useing one of these two heads.
One is a Karl Urban but the chin is not grim enough and the other reminds me of Hawkeye and the chin is good but eyes are boss eyed.

simply beautiful work!!! and i agree with what you said about the green. would have been cool if they had just hints of a military green in the costume..maybe you could do a version ??..lol.

I would choose the first one, that is the best for the dredd mouth, the other one looks too generic.

Hawkeye really? Reminds me more of Ray Stevenson.
ANyway his eyes will be covered so that will work.

Which body are you elvis? Seems kinda thin. IMO he needs to be more filled out.

I'm using a Dastan body.
Matches pretty well, he wasn't that big and muscular.

Everytime I'm fascinated, how you can use so many bits and put them together into one AMAZING piece! This is really inspiriting! (for me for example how to make Blade I vest!)

Really nice DREDD!!! And the best things is, that you not finished with him!!!

Really nice figure, wish the Movie went for more of the classic look, I've got Dredd Pieces here, difficult to decide which look to go for now
