BTW, what body (or rather, bodies) did you use on your Armored Bats? Did the metal boss armor fit without a problem? I am very slowly starting to come up with ideas and gathering parts for my own version.

Is there any figure you've made that doesn't look awesome?!

I've just started getting some bits together to try (obviously will fail) to get close to what you've done with your Dredd. I'm thinking of using the collar from the Art Figures Soldier of Fortune vest, any thoughts?

I used the Barney Ross body. I only use the front piece of the metal boss armour. I used snake eyes shoulder and biceps armour.

Particularly love that Rambo guy a couple of pages back... what do you use for hair, Seb? (Also are you a spray paint or a brush man?) Got about a million Qs but think its better to just sit back & admire your handy work...

I'm using tibetan lamb hair. The scale is perfect. As for the paint i'm more of a Brush man.

What type of paints do you use Seb? I was going to pick up some Games Workshop/Citadel paints for Dredd but wasn't sure.

I'm alway using Vallejo acrylics. I don't like citadel tbh.

That rambo looks great, you've got the hair technique down perfect.
Look forward to your rambo part 2 version, is it the old cian sculpt from before?
Not a big fan of that sculpt but am sure you'll make it work

I'm a bit stuck to the Riddick character [tring to do him on UV-6 Snow Planet] ...any suggestions for a realish looking snow to dust this Tibetan Lamb Hair with?

That's exactly what I'm worried about, but it looks so much better with a proper visor!

I agree. What you could do that is easier is use an exacto knife.
Heath the blade with a lighter and cut the visor. You will get a more precise result.

Brilliant, I'll give that a go instead. I've decided I'm definitely going to get someone else to paint it as I don't think I could achieve the desired results. I'll stick to painting the armour pieces as I think I can manage those ok - baby steps!

Sorry too about all the questions... Its a snow I need - have you ever used something for fake snow, you could suggest for me...
I'm going to use the Tibetan Lamb Hair you told me about but it will look too clean without a snow - I've no ideas and you are the Master!

Seems like you never visit this thread.

I have done a ton of figure with fake snow.
The best result for this kind of effect is using fake snow. The one you're using for make diorama.
It's like white powder. I usually applied it mixed with a bit of glue and using a brush. I then add a light drybrush effect with white paint.

The weathering is amazing as usual. I love all the different parts, looks like every piece of armor or clothing has a story like a scavenger lol reminds me of the book of eli

i absolute love original creations that have nothing to do with anyhting but the artist interpertations of what they should look like...a post apocolyptic rendering of what people or maybea nuclear fall out type people would look like is just an awesome concept seb. with your ability to improvise the figures you could create would no doubt be fantastic. everyone loves batman, and movie, figures. outside the box is where its at. the freedom of doing whatever to a figure really makes it fun. I always wanted to do a superhero type post nuclear end of world type figures. half man half machine types. maybe one day somebody like you will do a few and justify them better than anybosy else can..........great work seb, looking forward to more...
