McClane looks amazing. Can't wait to see the finished product. The Wolverine body (right?) looks fantastic on it!

Ditto!

Hey Seb, what feet and what body did you use? I have all my McClane stuff nearly ready to go but I'm really stumped on what body to use. If its the Comedian I'm out of luck because the sculpt I'm using is a mm too slim to fit on the post. I may go with Soldier Story body and arm sleeves, but I'd appreciate any advice from you.

Hey man, i used soldier story feet on the comedian body.
But there's a way to make the neck thinner.
You just have to remove the plug inside the neck. Then send it a bit and it will make the neck thinner.
I did it on mine and it worked great.
I think atm the comedian body is the best for macClane as it looks realsitic.

Thanks for the tips. I thought about trying to make the Comedian neck thinner and discussed it with Ryan but we weren't sure if the rubber around the neck would need to be sliced and tightened or anything. I agree the Comedian is best body for McClane at the moment. I'd sure like to make it work. Maybe I'll give it a go.

Re: ELVIS1976 custom work and kitbash

Can't wait to see the finished McClane, looks awesome so far.

Hot Toys should release those wolverine bodies loose, they're sitting on a goldmine I bet. Instead of paying ridiculous prices on e-bay people could buy them direct from retailers etc.

Both the Eli and Die Hard figure are great looking :rock

Stellar work as always!

Yup. In the meantime, anyone know of another body with sculpted FOREARMS? I have a short sleeve character and the toy arms are killing the overall awesomeness of it.

Re: ELVIS1976 custom work and kitbash

I want effin decent McClane from DH 1! I can't believe we haven't seen one yet from major player! :cuckoo:

Me neither! I think certain artists are perfectly suited for certain projects, and Seb is the man for McClane :rock So beyond stoked for this figure :panic:

Re: ELVIS1976 custom work and kitbash

Yeah !!!! McLane !!!!
I'm no sure but mpany people does the same mistake with his feet bandages. He use his tank top to strap his bleeding feet.
Not 100% sure though. But : "Yippie Kai Yay mother_____*er !!"

Yes you're correct sir, but i wanted to put it anyway.
SO not accurate but still cool :lol

It's not accurate, but that's probably for the best because if it was it would be too bulky and the figure wouldn't be able to stand up on it's on. So as is, it's functional and that's probably more important.

Good job! Now show pics of the finished P2 dammit!

:yess:
