It's still going to be a little while yet. Have to resupply with a different type silicone.

Just thought I'd show you all this..............
I have been killing a bit of time over the last hour,and after being inspired by Enauds excellent sculpts, I figured that you can't screw hands up too much so decided to have a go at these Duros hands.

Thumb isn't right but think the fingers came out reasonably well
definately gonna have a go at finnishing these but just how to cast them will be a completely different Ball Game

Tell me what you think, keep going or bin it

I would say keep at it.Looks as if you are on to something there...& got a good start on them.
I gave up trying to locate the SSC hands i mentioned a few posts back.From what I recall of them,they just had the long fingers but that's about it.What you've done so far has more resemblance to Duros.

i think the hands look great so far. the only thing i would be worried about would be if they were cast in solid resin they may wind up easily breakable. maybe the pro casters could chime in with what flexible material could be used. or is there is a resign that is more flexible?

I've also got a cast of Nien Numb, but I do not think it was Enaud's, pretty sure it was made from a magnet

Enaud is looking into a flexible material to cast Squidy's head in so those tentacles don't snap off.

I think Enaud's is made from the magnet (I made my Nien from that magnet and it looks the same as what I have seen of Enaud's), but with the back half sculpted so it's a whole head?

Had I known about Enaud's Nien head, I would have grabbed it - it would have saved me so much effort building the back of the magnet. I'm doing another Nien soon, so glad I found out about Enaud's head.

Hmmm, maybe it is Enaud's if Dorgs was making casts of them. I'm pretty sure I got it from Dorgs awhile back. Really great looking sculpt; just got it right when I revved down on customizing.

Hmmm, maybe it is Enaud's if Dorgs was making casts of them. I'm pretty sure I got it from Dorgs awhile back. Really great looking sculpt; just got it right when I revved down on customizing.

I seeming recall Dorgs picking his up on ebay already made into a figure & cast the head.I never saw his other than in pics.It was maybe a few months later I came across one locally & went to work on it.
And Yes,it is a very nice sculpt & is proportioned perfectly for a 1/6 NN. Wookiepedia has him measuring in at 1.6 meters(approx 5' 3") Converted to 1/6 scale, you're looking at 26.7cm or 10-1/2"
