We may have to wait for the pilots in the Naboo air force. I don't think there were women in the Lucas' military back then.

That's funny, I was just thinking about that last night. In the PT, there are tons of women and aliens in the Jedi order and in the Naboo military.

But somehow, in the OT, in both the Empire and the Rebel military forces, its almost all male humans. No alien generals on the Death Star or aboard the Executor. And for the Rebels, Mon Mothma and Ackbar aside (and Prune Face), Yavin 4, Hoth and Endor forces are all human and mostly males.

When did aliens and women get weeded out of the SW military?

I thought I remembered a female ERT honestly, but she apparently missed that boat.

Palpatine didn't really trust non-humans or females. Only a select few made it to a high position, Thrawn is the best example. There was also a female who Tarkin hand picked to lead a secret project. Of course I'm going all EU here and as we know, that never really happened.

Does anyone else think the Endor Rebels will be followed by Scout Troopers?

I don't know if I'm thinking it, but I'm definately hoping for it.

No. Too logical. The next figure announced will probably be Ice Cream Maker guy.

That would be awesome! I hope they don't make his ice cream the exclusive. That'll sell out in 5 minutes.

Perhaps not in the movies! But in the EU, Admiral Daarla was sent out by Grand Moff Tarkin to protect a military / scientific base somewhere near Kessel. She was the commander of four star destroyers. To bad she was not in the EU poll...
The only Daarla figure I know of, was made by Micro Machines, and is about an inch high...

Yep, that female is Admiral Daarla. She also was Tarkin's lover.

That's ironic, considering that's exactly who sits to his right and left in the Senate.
Yes, and let's not forget Mara Jade, who used to be the emperor's right hand.

Thank you, I forgot her name. But Palps didn't really know about her, or at least didn't know she was a woman.

As far as Mara, he treated her as a pawn. She was basicly a slave to him. Very reminiscent of how he uses Asajj in the Clone Wars.

Well... that was when he was still relying on aliens to get to his throne. Mas Amedda was one of his henchman but in time, he will be shoved out.

Well he had to appear kind in order to get into power. Then I'm sure he supplanted those next to him with humans from his training centers.

I think maybe this is a better place to post about this since many get upset when the photo threads go off topic.
Am I the only one upset that Sideshow made the pants on Nik Sant and possibly the Infantry trooper inaccurate? (not sure about Trooper Brent)
From the Definitive Endor Rebel Soldier how to website:
pantspouches01lq9.jpg

Nik Sant has six pockets, in addition to the two around his knees, he has two in the rear and two more up at the front that are missing on the final product.
It also appears that Sideshow has inaccuracies on the regular Endor Infantry Trooper's pants as well, missing the two pockets in the rear:

With all of Sideshow's resources I can't understand how they got this wrong. All it took me was a quick search on the net to have the right info.

Everytime I come to this thread hoping for pics to make me want to buy this line it never happens. All I see is debates. Which leads me to believe that most passed. So I will never own this line. I just don't want too. I can't own something that Sideshow created from their own employees. Boring. Same as if I created marketing reps from my company! BORING!
