Wor-Gar said:That's funny, I was just thinking about that last night. In the PT, there are tons of women and aliens in the Jedi order and in the Naboo military.
But somehow, in the OT, in both the Empire and the Rebel military forces, its almost all male humans. No alien generals on the Death Star or aboard the Executor. And for the Rebels, Mon Mothma and Ackbar aside (and Prune Face), Yavin 4, Hoth and Endor forces are all human and mostly males.
When did aliens and women get weeded out of the SW military?

Darth Loki said:Palpatine didn't really trust non-humans or females. Only a select few made it to a high position, Thrawn is the best example. There was also a female who Tarkin hand picked to lead a secret project. Of course I'm going all EU here and as we know, that never really happened.
Yes, and let's not forget Mara Jade, who used to be the emperor's right hand.Wor-Gar said:That's ironic, considering that's exactly who sits to his right and left in the Senate.
Alice Adrenochrome said:Yep, that female is Admiral Daarla. She also was Tarkin's lover.
