JAWS, after reading your arguments for the past days, now I see what you're trying to say. to make it worse, I kind of agree with you about the stiff pose & make it a bit lifeless. now I can never look at them the same again :lol:slap
but still, I choose freedom to pose like these figures over PF. The only statue I tempted to buy was hulk avengers macquette thankfully

I see the same thing JAWS sees but the fact is at the end of the day the realistic and accurate head sculpt just overrides all these things. So my advice to you would just keep that in mind and basically just ignore the flaws since they are quite minor.:wink1:

The most regular Terminator posters in here these days are all good easy-going people. Also I think maybe people are more open to criticism of Enterbay, I don't think they have any massive fanboys like HT does. :lol

Oh that is good to know you can actually criticize EB figures without being abused. :eek

I have no real interest in buying one. Not the way they are now. I can't say that I am not very curious to buy one because I would love to see one in person. Does that make sense? A great facial expression on a character I love with great Clothing might push me over the edge and finally take a chance

Makes perfect sense. ;)

The paint apps are just very cool. However it's not enough for me to ever own one as they are right now.

I am the opposite to you for me they are, well.. those things make the figure at the least very tempting.

Nope... I live in a small town. Nothing even close by.

Sorry to hear that man. :(

^yes darkavatar, that's why I choose figures like hot toys & enterbay. Their headsculpts & paint jobs are better than every statues I've seen. Not to mention the poseability. Again, to each their own.
I bought this figure even I'm sure I'm not a bigger terminator fan than any of the board members here.

Well I am not that interested in articulation but I believe u really need that option because Sideshows PF pose is horrible. Imagine having this beautiful piece stuck in that drunk pose. :gah:

Yeah it is such a nice piece that even us non Terminator fans cant resist. :lol

I honestly don't mind this stiffness and "lifelessness" of the EB Terminator...I mean it's a Terminator...a machine. I wasn't really expecting to pose it like a ballerina or anything, so the fact that it just kind of stands up right is okay with me.

Yeah I totally agree, but an awful pose can really put you off the whole statue/figure. Like that Freddy PF by SS, I like the likeness of it but you can't see his glove, so that is the main reason I passed on that. :thud:

Yeah, that was certainly overlooked by Sideshow. Very foolish as that's easily his most identifiable feature. Some have turned his glove so that it is palm up. It helps a little.

Just a quick update showing my latest set-up for the Enterbay 1/4 T-800 Battle Damaged and figure and my new purchase, the 1:1 Endoskeleton Bust.

:exactly:

Well you own it, yours should be the same. :lol

I guess the rid lighting made it look even better. So this particular figure looks the best with RED LED lights as opposed to the common blue LED ones.

Yea, I've got those IKEA dioder LEDs inside my display case and it gives you the option of choosing a variety of colours. White blue and red appear to give off the best look!

Great photo Roberto!

@Darkavatar -- YES! I'm proud to have this guy on my shelf. I won't ever get tired of looking at it -- I don't even get tired of looking at photos of others' BD T800! Even grainy photos can't make this guy look bad.

I think the red LED lights complement the figure as it gives the feel and atmosphere of the last scene of T2!
