A little nervous about the remote control stuff too. Cool, but unnecessary. Don't think the wiring in my BD T-800 is fantastic...
That said, just learned that PopCultureShock are doing a 1/4 scale statue/ED-209 if this fails!

I'm going to keep checking this thread for the robocop 1/4. If it turns out amazing, I'll just wait for that and cancel the hot toys robo. I enjoy 1/4 over 1/6 anyways.

From what I hear Enterbay is still posting nothing but NBA. Just what the **** are they doing with this thing? And how in the hell do they intend to keep to their projected release for the 1:4 T-1000? (I mean obviously they won't)

They've been a source of frustration - a complete non-year from Enterbay. That said, it's given me a chance to get the funds together for the DKR from HT.

I'm guessing December for Robocop. T-1000 is next year for sure.

From what Bill said earlier this year was that Masked Rider would be out by summer and in Nov. would be another Bruce Lee and then RoboCop followed by Rocky then T-1000.I know that toward the end of last year it seemed that they weren't going to meet their schedule with BD T-800 but they managed to not only pull it off but to impress the hell out of all naysayers!Hopefully we get another repeat of last year!^_^

That's pretty cool, but I'd rather have to open it manually and have it look accurate than have it mechanical but not look right.

Would rather buy this for a cheaper price without all the gimmicks they're adding onto it. While it's cool to see, it's not cool to see it bringing the price up on this figure. Guessing it'll be about $600 when it would have been about $450 without it all.

I doubt they'll add $150 onto the price just because they added a sound device and most probably plastic leg opening mechanism

Things have to progress, it's cool there actually trying to make it more authentic

They're also adding a "motion sensor" to it, well rumored to be adding that.

$150 isn't that hard to believe when they're adding a voice command, remote control, motion sensor capabilities and his moving gimmicks.

Really weak feature IMO
It doesn't work screen accurate. It just opens and that's all.
"Final testing"? A lot of $20-30 toys have features similar to that one.
All this time they are trying to make it look like some kind of revolution & etc., but after that vid it just look like a waste of time.
Way too much pathos.
Hope the figure itself will be solid.

I doubt the price of the figure will skyrocket that much!I think the reason for all the added gimmicks is to:
One,to stand out from the competition and what better way to attract attention!
Two,there's not much to the figure to justify a price between $400-$500 so these add-ons(in their minds)will more than make-up the difference.
I think so anyway!^_^
