Enterbay - 1/4 scale RoboCop 3

Yeah it's quite expensive but I paid pretty close to the same price for the EB Joker (shipped) and this is a little less than $100 more than the HT Robocop with chair and has more features. The only thing that concerns me is with that RC there are bound to be big QC problems.

I can't believe that this figure is actually growing on me.

I think a lot of collectors out there are also thinking the same thing buddy...not heard too many positive things regarding Enterbays returns dept nor their customer services for that matter so we'll see...

Neither have I that is why I never order from EB direct.

Yea, exactly. I'm ordering mine from a local retailer so one would imagine he'll be doing checks before he ships out...

That's a smart move, just hope they don't overcharge u.

pricing from my local retailer is usually the cheapest you'll get from the UK so not worried too much about that. What concerns me are the possible flaws that you mentioned earlier regarding the QC issues of the RC plus failure of electronic parts over a said amount of time and finally the overall paint apps and lack of blue tint

Oh that's good then, one less thing to worry about.

Yeah just like you do with Timcent. He overcharges but he does help you out if things go wrong and checks out the figure thoroughly before sending it. However, buying it from it BBTS is the best way since it's domestic. BTW do you they pay the shipping price if u return

Not unless you just return it because you just don't want it. Defects, mistakes are covered.

Well that's what I meant, but are you saying you can return the item anyway just because you don't like it as long as you pay for the shipping?

Oh, yeah there might be a restocking fee on top of the shipping, but I could be wrong. But yes, in that instance, shipping is on you. Point in case- my EB bats. Took three ( yes, THREE) back and forth shipments to get one that was QC free. (The first two had paint issues on the face and the second had a longer leg and the suit was unevenly cut).
I'm not blind towards EB QC bs, but I'm hopeful BBTS will make it right if push comes to shove. Worst case scenario, I can use that money for something else I'd want later in if Robo turns out to be a complete disaster, lol.

I am just surprized they let you send it back just because you don't like the look of it as long as you pay the shipping cost.

I suspect you'll be happiest if you buy it just because you like the look of it, and pretend the RC features exist altogether.

Dam I never saw your post until Mr walker replied to it. I thought those "in hand " pics were touched up because how can one set of pics look like a NECA paint job and the other have something that looks totally different, especially when the pics in both sets look like professional pictures taken in pretty much the same lighting.

Well you are half right, I am not interested in playing with toys anyway, I only buy these things for what they look like. However, if there are horrible QC problems with the RC features, that will put me off because it will be harder to sell later on. Not that I want to sell these later just things come up and sometimes u have to part with things that u love.

I found this video to be very interesting, it tells of what robocop is made of, how he really is more cyborg than man than even I though, even the skin on his face was explained in some detail, a good watch for anyone wanting to know more about Robocop

Me ether, there some more interesting content on the channel that was just part 3 of a 4 part series, the most interesting out of all 4, but there's lots of videos there all robocop, even stuff from the new movie.

I'm in the same boat, I actually didn't even consider it at first, having the mind of just sticking to the hot toys version. However the more I thought of it, the more I've been thinking that it would be a very impressive piece to own, still on the fence but not out of the question at this point

Me too.

I think this is mainly because its in stock status and HT's will still take a while. Pretty sure once the HT version are readily available, most folks would prefer that version altogether, just like the HT BD T800 and EB 1/4 BD T800. Unless they are a robocop completists.

Have you bought from the USA website before? I love BBTS, but the markup stinks a little. How's EB customer service/QC based return policy on the EB USA site?
