It may come down to price for me, if EB is $400 again, sold, but if we get close to $500, you get more for your money with HT. Close prices, I put authenticity first, but with a big gap, my budget comes in and I have to think what my money gets and HT is more, assuming my theory on EB holds, if EB is 2 looks like HT at $500, then EB still looks good.
:exactly: true
I'd welcome EN DXing First Blood, as nice as that M65 is, it'd be better today and the bandan FB figure was just bad lol, but every movie has a figure but 4 so o really want to see it happen, it's my most favorite movie.
First Blood will always be my favorite, but 4 is next in line for me as well. It's so badass & ruthless. Nuff said.
HT Terminator BD DX is quite impressive but I have no doubt this figure will be much more impressive than HT mainly due to the size.

I am sticking to my plan which is to get this instead of HT terminator BD DX.

The head sculpt on this one is perfect 100% pure Arnie unlike HT. Now let's just hope the quality will be as good as the head sculpt.

QC & price are my main concern with this EB figure. :dunno

I want to agree with you, but I worry about QC on this guy. I think this sculpt is way better than HT, but my experience with EB was horrible. I find it hard to support them with another purchase, after dealing with them over my Rambo defect. Also, my T-800 had a bunch of issues too that I overlooked at the time with the long leg, loose shoulder, and warped sunglasses that I had to fix. Once I fixed everything it was fine, but many people had those problems to deal with on that figure. It just shows that EB does not spend the time to check their work. Its about making the best HS with those guys and the rest is up in the air quality wise. Defects happen and I get that, but it feels like flippin a coin with these guys and the odds are 50/50. :( And I can't remember the last time I opened a HT figure and had problems with loose shoulders and different leg length to fix. :dunno

P.S. Don't get me wrong about loving my Arnold and Sly figs, but EB has QC issues that freak me out a little.

Agreed, but this was enough to get my attention. Having that said, there's no way I'm buying direct again. If I need to wait for a closer distributor to get these in-stock, so be it.

Oh definitely, I will never ever buy direct from that outfit again!!!! I don't even know if I will buy this, but I might consider it depending on price & shipping costs at BBTS.

P.S. It's just hard to pass up when you love the Terminator films.

I wonder what the deal is with Diamond Distribution. Does it just supply local comic book stores and online retailers with EB's products? Or is there an actual site where you can buy direct from them?

I don't think so, but I could be wrong. I think their website would have a link to a web-store if you could buy direct. I don't recall ever seeing one on there.

After seeing the DX 13, I'll still more exited about this release. The headsculpt on this one looks miles better IMO.

Some new pics would be a good idea about now, Bill :wink1:

When it gets to be later here in the US (morning there), Bill will probably crash one of his Ferraris into the side of his office like he does every day, swagger out the car door, remove his $6K (an assumption)sunglasses, boot up the computer, and post some photos. ;)

The thing that wins me over is the scale and obviously the portrait sculpt...Spending over $300 for 1/6 scale is not my thing....Enterbay better bring it w/ great QC!

I personally think that we will get a better looking figure with Enterbay and it will look more like Arnold at the age he was at the time the movie was shot.I was impressed with what HT has to offer in 1/6 scale even though it comes right after the release of their DX T-800 which is one thing I dislike about HT(they must like milking cows).Anyway my money is going to Bill on this one!
