Jury's still out, if HT had just done the final BD look, I could say right now, EB, but, with all the HT included, it's tempting, the EB will have to look really special and not cost too much for me to swing that way. Very eager to see their final product.
Fair enough. I'm hoping that the EB T-800 will have as much accessories as this release, and under $500 at least. That'd be an instant buy for me.

Is there any possibility that EB offers two BD heads like HT?
That's just my 1/4 scale collection, next to them I have my Rambo 4 1/2 scale bust, then my Rambo 2 1/3 scale bust, I have a full poster of Rambo 4, 11 x 17 posters of all the movies and a couple other arts, artwork, and my knives. I basically sold off just my 1/6 lineup, except my custom, WIP Rambo 4. While hard selling Rambo cuz, it's my most favorite character ever, having all the other nice stuff I didn't sell made it easier, yes the HT figures are Rambo, but they really don't hold up today, M65 was probably the closest one to holding up and even that one had issues I tried to correct and wasn't fully satisfied with. Plus, NECA will be doing Rambo figures and I will likely be able to make quite a representation of the series with them much like NECA Terminator.
Theres always a possibility. Though if they do im sure it'll be atleast $500.
I don't think we will see 2 hs because you won't need 2. It will be one complete figure at the end of the movie that will be true BD all the way. One scene away from going into the melting pot is my guess.
Thers is a possibility of EB offering as many items, except the T-1000, as HT, but, you'll be looking at a $600-$700 price tag most likely, since their basic figures are all about $400.
I'm just not sure EB would even do it, so far every 1/4 release has been fairly basic for accessories and looks, Batman had multiple heads but that works without other parts changing, Terminator needs whole outfit and arm changes to make each head work. The accessories are light and the figures themselves are pretty focused in their representations. I think EB is going after just a really good looking display piece with a few options, rather than treating the 1/4 scale figures like 1/6 with a sort of "kids' action figure" approach like HT does with packing all sorts of accessories and costume changes. The action figure approach serves me well for my photography, but that's just one component of my collecting, and it's only for a short time, then my stuff just ends up on display, where EB's approach serves me better.
That's why I'm undecided about which BD to go for, in their own ways, each company will end up with very compelling reasons for me too choose them, it'll be a close decision, unless the EB price is so high that it's not even an option.
Yes, but that's just it, 3 cowls, from the neck down, all the same. With T-800, you need the full sleeved jacket, partial sleeved jacket, and EB uses really nice leather for the T-800 coats so that won't be cheap, you need 2 left forearms, plus the 2 heads, plus one head should have electronics. If EB were to do all that, I'd see it as at least $500 and maybe more.
Good point, but Im sure it cost way less to have three sculpts that are just painted matte black, rather than two(one with an LED light) headsculpts with realistic skin tones.
Actually you can get the Batman for $325 right now.
Ya, I don't see them doing that cause they could price themselves right out. Not many people can cough up that much doe for one figure.

In the ongoing EB-HT battle, I think they're better off swinging with a low priced, top notch figure. Everyone that loves EB T-800 was not swayed by DX10, which had loads more weapons and gear. The people that will favor EB over HT will do so for EB's quality, not the quantity of items in the box. Every conversation where someone says the EB figure is better than HT, it comes down to saying how much the EB looks just like the real thing and HT looks more like a figure of the real thing. I like the idea of treating these figures as posable statues, basic accessories, specific look, but amazing execution.
I wonder if they will include an exclusive item for this guy? I was trying to think about what it might be, but with Rambo we got arrow heads and the T-800 had feet and the extra gun. I wonder what's in store for him.
