Damn if Maulfans finding faults I may have to join him :(

There ain't no better judges than a-dev and Maulfan when it comes to T2.

Will the new weapons be made of metal/wood like the originals or just plastic? I'm thinking just plastic but fingers crossed...

Think they've already said metal havn't they? Most of jokers weapons where. I'd hope the minigun was plastic though, or at least predominantly plastic. Otherwise it'll be too heavy to have him hold.

EB seems keen on using real materials instead of plastics whenever possible, so I'm sure that'll continue here. I've only had Rambo and T-800 so far but they seem to be doing a good job of not sacrificing pose options by making things too heavy.

Second thoughts? Even if the torn arm does end up pretty basic looking like the photo, it should be easy to add some damage to it with loose wires. Just like adding extra blood to the original endo arm with the clean T-800. Should we have to add it on such a high scale figure? No, but for some it might be a requirement for the right look. Most of us enjoy that kind of stuff anyway, so not a big deal for myself. I just hope the QC dept. is up to the task of checking joints & the light up eye. Last thing I want is to flip the switch and have a hs that needs an eye fix, or arms that can't hold the gun.

Shouldn't it be possible to just heat up the arm remnants with a hair dryer and splay them out a bit?

Thanks for that Voorhees. Even if the BD arm part isn't as good as the HT one, it won't be enough to spoil the figure. The positives so far are we know that the headsculpt is staggeringly good, from the front at least, and it has the BD on the back of the head too. The proportions are good and the outfit appears to be good too.

I wonder how they'll handle the BD knee on this. We know how HT did it.

:goodpost: my thoughts exactly.

Here's the thing though; I learned a long time ago that you have to just wait and see the final pics. I preach this all the time. Same thing happened before Enterbay's Joker...a lot of people tore it up and then once it came out, a lot of people changed their tunes.

I'm not going to judge this on a far-away B&W shot from the back that may very well be a proto, heck, the last few headsculpt pics released the other week were noted as being semi-production pieces so I have to believe that this is probably the same story. Logically, I don't see how they could nail every little subtle scratch on the face, but totally drop the ball on the arm...trust me guys, just wait for Friday, we're almost there.

Despite that though, even if the severed arm isn't as accurate as HT's, we damn well know the headsculpt is, and that matters WAY more to me. And like DeathAsylum mentioned, it'd be an easy fix to add some blood and maybe a few loose wires.

Yeah I think it's safe to bet that the M-79 will be metal and wood for sure, which will be all kinds of awesome. The grenades themselves might be metal also.

One thing I don't think was brought up yet though, is the M-79 from that teaser pic...I can't tell if its got the broken stock or if its a normal one.

perhaps we'll get both? Or maybe one will be an exclusive accessory if you order directly from enterbay?

I agree with this. I love head too much. Wait... that didn't sound right.

The BD arm definetly looks miles better on the HT one. But its not a deal breaker for me. I also wouldn't be suprised if it is as its shown. Yes the headsculpt is detailed down to the last scratch, however, the team that created the body, the clothes, the accessories are probably different from the HS team. Just because one part is accurate, dosent necessarily mean the others will be.

If it ends up as is, hopefully the sleeve can be yanked a little lower, and i'll also be tempted to add some wire or sth to it as well to give it a messier look.

I think that the reason the endo arm is designed that way is for swapping arms. A solid piece that looks strange, but will hold up to people removing it from the body. My guess is a regular arm will be included to hold the gatling gun. If the arm swap is anything like the clean version endo arm swap, then you need a solid arm piece without tons of delicate details that will break off during the switching process.

Yes, I'm thinking about that too.
maybe I'll use my clean version to pose holding the minigun:lol

So badass! if HT wasn't already doing the BD I'd be in for this.
