Correct me if I'm wrong but HD1003 seems to be quite quick out of the blocks. It's shipping soon and has not been that long a wait.

Maybe there speeding things up a bit.

If that means less QC then id rather wait.

I'm think this guy will be out this year though.

He'll be back...

But facing the wrong way!!

Really 1:4 scale? I'm not sure about that ball-jointed neck on a statue.
PS Time for normal pics already BTW :lol

The Bruce Lee statues are the same, doesn't take away the awesomeness in it though.
Not exactly the same.
First of all, Bruce haircut hides the joint in most places.
Second, it seems like it's functional here and the joint itself is too easy to spot (on Bruce you cannot actually see it + there is no actual space between head & the neck, only some kind of stitch). Even more obvious than on HT 1/6 figure. I prefer stuff like that to be on the action figures, not the statues.
If they really wanted to add articulation point for the neck I think this type of joint with a sculpted neck is a way better choice:

So what do you expect man? :lol
Why not speculate in this case?
20th anniversary + awesome licence + high hopes = highly anticipated product
Solution is pretty obvious - show some normal pics already :lol

Depending on posability of the bodym the head joint may or may not be a good thing. If you have body pose options, the neck joint will be nice to have, if you only have one pose really for his body, then fully sculpted would look better since there wouldn't be much reason to move his head around.

Got really excited to see this thread bumped but as far as exciting reveal/teaser pic's go this one is not.

Show us a full pic!!!

Nah, better to just show us little looks like this along the way of the 2 year wait for it to actually ship :lol
