HT initially didn't have the black t-shirt included in their release but came through with it in the end - wonder if EB will do the same. After all the effort that has gone into this, it'd be stupid not to include the grey t-shirt. Who would seriously pose their figure with the black shirt and endo arm?

Probably too late now to give him a grey T-shirt - the people who already have the figure would be pretty p!$$ed off. But yeah, the lack of grey t-shirt means I won't even give a moments consideration to displaying him with the endo-arm.

I can already hear my mam's sewing machine and those little grey fabrics threading through... :D

(In my head of course, she's going to copy the black t-shirt dimension wise...)

and you know what? I just found the PERFECT fabric just now... my underpants. They're the exact colour and are thin fabric. So, my Arnie will be wearing my undies :D

It's funny the work HT and EB put into their T-800s and yet neither realized at first how some of their accessories couldn't be film accurrate without an alternate shirt. Good at least that EB went with black, wih no 1/4 scale cyberdyne parts around, not much use for the grey shirt but this is a fantatic figure of T-800 from the first 1/3 of the movie. Would have been cool to see them try bullet hits in the coat as the large scale might have allowed then to do it nicely, i feel like 1/6 would either be exaggerated or unnoticeable, not good either way.

Crap! I didn't even know that EB didn't include the gray shirt. Makes no sense, since he wears it in so many good scenes.

How are they going at each other? EB did this a LONG time after HT.

How late to the party can you get... 1/4??? :lol

I would rather they made a BD version, that would have been something really special.

Then why is everybody comparing the EB one to the HT one then? And we may just get that BD version sometime soon. And you must be really late to the party :) tyvm

Same subject matter. Its inevitable, no matter the scale difference. Timewise they're close enough together too - not like we're talking about any significant toymaking advancements.

Hmm, not sure I agree there - the scale, two years and $150 separates them. Toy making advancements I can't comment on specifically, but that's a long time in terms of developing materials technology in terms of both the mold and the paint. Look at the difference for example between the HT Bale sculpts from the OC Bats and BB Bats releases - and that's from the same company.

Hmmm, I think that HT hadn't put 100% in the Christian Bale sculpt to begin with and then went back and corrected their mistake in order for us to buy yet another batman... but then again, that's just my opinion.

Am I the only one who's noticed the non movie accurate CPU chip?... It should be damaged on the corner, but isn't. Unless you want it to be the chip Sarah takes out of the T2 T-101 in the directors cut...

MmmmNope. Even if this were the case, how does one explain the disparity in quality between the various Tony Stark heads in the IM license if not in the context of improved technological processes? The artists refining their work from one sculpt to the next has only a small part to play in the improvements that we see. It's the advances in the technology that allow sculptors to achieve a more faithful reproduction of their original sculpt, and painters to achieve a more lifelike paint app. IMO anyway.

But the chip is damaged when they get it, it was damaged when the T1 got crushed. Thats why they have to research it so much, because there was a piece missing.

Thinking about it, why do we even get the chip? I want the grey t-shirt and gloved hands not the chip that arnold doesn't even pick up.

It's just a chip!

The chip is inside the T800, he cannot function without the chip. You saw how John Connor tried to move him after it was extracted--frozen!

This chip is a different Terminator's. If this chip was his, you cannot pose it since it is out of the head! :)

I'm fine with the black shirt. He starts off with it. If they threw in an extra one I'd love it but w/e!
