It's just a chip!

The chip is inside the T800, he cannot function without the chip. You saw how John Connor tried to move him after it was extracted--frozen!

This chip is a different Terminator's. If this chip was his, you cannot pose it since it is out of the head! :)

I'm fine with the black shirt. He starts off with it. If they threw in an extra one I'd love it but w/e!

Thats what I mean, the chip is the T1 terminator's chip. That chip is damaged and is the one we get. The T2 terminator doesn't have a damaged chip... and really, I don't care either... so I don't know why i'm winging :p If neccassary i'll just cut a bit off.

Who cares about an extra shirt. It would probably be hard to change on this massive body. I never changed the HT T2 T800 to his black shirt.
Now if they surprise us with gloved hands, grenade belt and grenade launcher:yess:

It would be no harder to change a shirt on a 1/4 figure than it would a 1/6 figure - what makes you think it'd be difficult? I never changed the shirt on my T2 Arnie either, but that's because he wore the black leathers with both shirts. I'm not a stickler for screen accuracy like some, but even I would balk at displaying him in endo-arm mode in a black t-shirt. It's not a deal-breaker for me by any stretch, but it does point to a degree of oversight in EB's design of this release.

The shirt should actually be easier to change on 1/4 scale than on a smaller figure.

Got give credit where is due. The paint job on the robotic arm is far better on the HT figure.

lol

Every single thread I've ventured into has the dumbest nitpicks.

Do you consider the provision of a screen-accurate t-shirt a dumb nitpick? Well maybe you did once before you read this thread, and maybe you don't think you care because you never intended to display the figure in the endo-arm pose anyhow. But the seed of doubt has been sewn Cosmo! When you take delivery of this figure, all you'll be able to think of is how you can't bear the thought of posing him in your newly-favourite endo-arm pose because there is no grey t-shirt. You'll be back on this thread asking if anyone is making custom screen-accurate grey t-shirts, and bemoaning EB's choice to go with black instead of grey, which would've been easily dyed black. You don't know it now, but this is the first unravelling thread in your positive estimation of this figure BwaaaHaHaHaaaaaa:lol
