Ah, I see... I thought you were saying you had almost all the HT figures made to date.

Yeah, I have the set; including the Anicom Scar. I think I'll end up selling them, though. There's no point keeping stuff you don't display and have kept boxed up for years.

To be honest, I find the head sculpts amateurish and never displayed them without their masks on. HT will probably release better versions of them sooner or later anyway.

I may as well cash in before the bottom falls out of the market with all the fakes and recasts now being sold on ebay. People will still pay good money for figures that are basically new in mint boxes. I could use the money to pay for all the rest of the HT stuff I have on order, with plenty of change left over.

I was only referring to my areas of particular interest like Terminator, Predator, Robocop, Alien, Star Wars OT and to a lesser extent Batman, Superman and Spiderman. I've been there ready to collect all of the best action figures from those licenses throughout the years from different companies. And the only ones I've missed that I care about are the HT P2 Elder, Hicks, Vasquez and Apone. Others have come into the hobby late and/or were too young or they only decided to start collecting a particular scale when some of the best figures had been and gone and are now playing major catchup.

I certainly wish I could have every HT release from all licences but I stretch myself too much as it is.

I'm currently wrestling with the idea of selling some things myself which I don't really want to sell but could use the money. Its a headwrecker.

Even though it's pretty dated, I quite like the HT Kyle Reese. I hope Enterbay delge into some T1 products, or 1/4 T2 Future John Connor with T2 regular John Connor multipack :rock

This is an off topic question (well its not collectible related anyway) but does anybody know if an mp3 version of the music from 20 to about 45 seconds in the youtube video exists? I know its not on the T2 OST but i've been looking for it for years! It's very short and basic, but when I was younger I always thought it sounded so awesome and it immediately reminds me of T2. Any help would be appreciated!

edit: sorry somebody already linked that for you!

Actually guys I forgot the Hot Toys AvPs - I wasn't collecting 1/6th when they were out, if I was I probably would have bought them. However I only really regret not having the Elder.

So Butters I think you probably have me beat when it comes to HT preds. I don't know what you have exactly but for some reason I've gotten the impression you have most of them?

I like that piece of music too, kind of strikes a nostalgiac chord in me. Unfortunate they didn't see fit to put it on the soundtrack, likewise a few other pieces of scoring from the film.

Any time I want to hear these pieces I look at this youtube clip, though even these aren't complete and fade in and out because of the way they were recorded.

A-Dev, I dunno if you have this info, but from another community I head it said that Universal/Halcyon/MGM, whoever has the rights now...LOST the masters to the T2 score. That´s why no complete score exists.
If this really is the case then that´s really a certificate of sadness...

I heard that too! I hope someday they will release the complete score for T2! My favorite movie is the first two Terminator and I love the score!

I thought I heard that somewhere. I hope it'll be found again at some point and they issue the complete score. I wish they'd release soundtracks complete in the first place though.

Unfortunately the composers often control the released albums and that's why you see things like music on the CD but not in the movie or music from two very spread out parts of the movie in one track. Some composers assemble the soundtracks to be as if they were just putting out a symphony album with no film connection. I get that as artists, but most fans want at least every note from the film in the order of the film.

I hope for that for years now, I think since I saw it the first time, when I didn´t even start to collect and go into the terminator hype.
I´m always looking for news regarding a full score and hoped for something for the 25th anni, but nothing came to fruition.
May with the T1 Skynet Edition?!!?
But said Hope of the future is a fellow member of me and Csutkakoma and he has a complete score, amde together with a friend, that´s what I was referring too.
He told me that they ripped the complete audio from the Ultimate DVD, furthermore ripped apart the 6 soundlines (5.1), extracted the music and realligned everything.
Insane, I tried a few times to get it...futile attempt.

:goodpost:
I hate it when they do it like that.
Complete score and even the word "score" means for me, that it´s the music we know and remember exactly how it was in the movie.
What´s so hard about it?!?!ß

I wish then that they'd share this treasure. A complete T2 sountrack would be a grail acquisition.

I feel the same, much better to have the arrangement exactly as it was in the film even if you end up with tracks with 13 second running times. Other things that annoy me are the likes of alternate cues being inserted where they weren't in the film (such as a piece thats in the Empire strikes back main titles on the cd but is never in the film) or the alternate versions of certain tracks of the Aliens score for some unknown reason being the defaults while the actual movie versions are only included as 'bonus' tracks at the end. I don't get why Horner would do that.

Most of the composers want your focus on their work only, and I can understand their perspective. In the movies, most of the time, the music is part but you don't hear the music purely. They want the CDs to stand as symbols of their abilities and you to hear the music as they feel it flows best rather than in the order of scenes it fits too.

I'm just glad any T2 score was released, and original Fiedel music not some orchestra performing his stuff. I've had to settle for some score music performed by other composers before and while it's something, you can't beat the original.
