Never had a 1/4 figure in hand so I was a little bit impressed despite having some life size stuffs.
Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase. The final product is close to the prototype. It's as good as the pics we seen those past weeks. Funny thing, when I took it out of the box...he lost his right foot... :gah: It was easy to fix though! Less funny, the leather partern of the left sleeve is bad, too big. You can easily spot the difference with the rest of the jacket. Then, the right sleeve is shorter than the left one. Not a big issue with the following pose.

More pics to come.

You sound as if you are not as impressed as you thought you would be with this figure David.

I had big expectations with this figure. I was like a kid when I saw the parcel. Then some little details kill the "thing". But I'm impressed and satisfied, really. It easily beats the HT IMO. Though it didn't blown me away because I already have the HT (same look etc...).
I guess I need something really different now.

Another pic:

great and are the silver buttons on the collar glued on or stitched on and does it look like it will come off easliy like with the Hot Toys ones?

This is where I get nitpicky - I don't like the hair in this pic, too bouffant on the side there like the Sideshow PF. Face looks great though.

I see what you mean. Weirdly, it's only on this side of the head...

They are glued. I can't tell if they will last forever but they do look solid to me. I don't manipulate my fig that much so they remain intact.

I don't have the HT figure, so maybe my reaction will be more favourable :D Also, please know the answer to this question David :lol

Does it have the edition size anywhere?

I actually did have a suspicion that the hair isn't completely symmetrical. Slightly noticeable from the front-on aswell from pics I've seen where its a smidge taller on one side of his head. Someone with sculpting ability could easily correct this I'm sure, shave it down, resculpt and repaint it.

That's what happened when something this big isn't a statue. It doesn't have nice fixed post that looks good from every angle.
I'm satisfied with it but it should be a statue though.

I agree he looks great in some angles but he also can really look like a toy in different angles :gah:. I personally prefer a statue for a size this big. It's a shame statue T2 PF is too skinny. I am still waiting for my perfect T2 collectible. I hope T2 T800 battle damage LSF will be the one.

With respect to all who have this piece and have shared photos, the best looking images are the ones where the pose, clothing and framing of the shot show clear time and thought put in for a good look. Yes, statues offer a more consistent quality look with no effort, if one takes time, a figure can be posed and made to look just as nice, it just takes some work. I feel that my display figures give a statue feel in their pose and the costume futzing, but haing real cloth costumes, look even more realistic than a statue.
