Listen to a-dev, smart man. :wink1:

I really hope it does. All of the great features of a PF combined with all of the great features of a 1/6th scale figure in one mind blowingly awesome package.

Precisely how I feel about it. I've always been a huge fan of PF's and the scale so these are just bonus for me.

I didn't mean to sound so, I dunno, 'do it or else' in my post above. Of course, whether or not Difabio really warms to 1/4 scale is entirely up to him and no one will think he is uncool if he doesn't.

There is arguments for staying out of it - the space and expense being big ones, especially if it takes off and becomes the new 1/6.....if it does that then we really could be rebuying every single character and iteration of every character now in the larger size. Thats kind of daunting. But as long as one knows ones limits which I am determined I will master. I have to. Eventually I hope to be buying nothing but Terminator and if no Terminator stuff is being made then I'll buy nothing. Thats the eventual plan anyway....after I buy a few other things.

Awe really sorry to hear about those problems, DiFabio, the boot looks really messed up there :(

I'd contact EB and see what they can do for you otherwise then I'd return it to Sifu.

Nah not at all. There was no part of your post that came off that way :)

I too would love to just focus on Terminator 1 & 2 but I know that'll never happen :lol As far as size and space go, i've always been a selective collector so if they were to make say 4-5 batmans, one would be more than enough in that scale.

Thanks :1-1:

The imminent 1/4 scale HT and EB Terminator war and the Robocop war has put the $h!ts into me. Thats all stuff I'm gonna want for sure. That together with certain other things outside the hobby pretty much demand that I scale back on everything else I've been collecting. It remains to be seen how successful I'll be at that but one things for sure I've never quite felt this level of necessity and urgency about doing so before.

man sorry to hear, DiFabio , about ur T800, hope gets sorted out so u can enjoy your piece more :)

Sorry to hear you had some problems out of the box. Was it used? I know EB doesn't really seal up their packages so it's kind of fishy.

IMO contact seller and maybe even Enterbay. They have that 7 day policy thing and time is of the essence

Are most folks thinking about selling on this one if the other ones turn out to be better or are there some that will just get every 1:4 scale Terminator and indeed Predators and Batmans?

I am hoping to try to keep it to two but these (from both companies) keep getting better and better.

I mean how long will it be before the might T1 Hot Toy will look dated? I hope never but my HT T2 is looking pretty weak now.

I'm still on the fence for one. I had planned to pick it up around this time of the year and knew they were pushing out a BD T-800. It's a rather difficult decision.

This is an amazing all around figure- I just looked at mine again today and IT IS Arnold to a tee. It doesn't take up that much more space as far as display base size but height, yeah. Weighs a TON. You can sniff that Italian leather and fell the metal guns...just a experience you have to appreciate!

Enterbay can't help me since I didn't buy directly from them (they emailed me pretty damn quickly though and their English is fine). My seller is working on it though. Great guy, I really appreciate his help. He'll let me know what's up this week.

I'm pretty sure it was brand spanking new. I don't sense any foul play here, just bad luck. The condition of the box was pretty crappy but I got it for less than the original MSRP price (probably the best deal yet) and everything about it screamed new and fresh, from the plastic on the head to the accessory trays.

Just need a new boot and the pistol magazine with bullets.

I think the figure is worth experiencing, but I REALLY don't like this scale and the body itself is a little iffy. Honestly, I think this 1/4 thing is going to be a fad. No matter how good these things get, I can't see myself buying all of them. It's just not feasible unless you have unlimited space, moola, and a clear mind (more ____ to get obsessed over and more problems to worry about). Maybe I'll get one more, depending on the character but there's just something about it that doesn't sit quite right with me. I'd give Robocop or Joker a chance.

The head is amazing, the realness to the clothes and weapons are great, and I love the build of the body. But really, it's nothing far from the realm of 1/6 possibility. Don't want to sound like a broken record, but my only real issue is the functionality and design of the body. The limbs are nice and sturdy but that chest/torso is just completely awful. That ____ ain't gonna last. Not sure what's under that rubber crap but it feels thin and cheap. Be careful.

Its still early days yet for you though. I dunno, before this I had the NECA Endo, Robocop, Alien and Predator so maybe those accustomised me to the scale (especially given they were relatively cheap). Only after those did I get this EB T-800. It didn't turn me off 1/6 in the least but it did make me think - wow, 1/6 is kinda small. But in the end if you aren't into it no biggie. 1/6 I'm sure will always be there.

I have 18" Robocop and the 18" Endo but I don't know, other than size, they're kind of different. There's nothing on them that you really have to worry about mishandling or breaking. I haven't looked at my Robocop in awhile but I recall him being a big, solid piece. They were also pretty inexpensive too. Something snaps, you were out 40 bucks, not 400. Big difference.

Really, I guess it's not so much the scale, but the figure in general. When I'm moving this one around it just doesn't feel right. I mean it's not loose like a marionette puppet but it's like I'm handling a bomb or something. Like I said before, the best term I got is unwieldy. It's an unwieldy experience with a lot of things that can go wrong if you're not careful.

These collectible companies have definitely got Arnold's frame down (Hot Toys, Enterbay, NECA) but I don't really like how they put them together. Hot Toys' shoulders are way to fragile while Enterbay's torso feels like it could snap at any second.

Oh yeah. Without a doubt. You're aware of how much money you're handling and that is simultaneously a good and a bad thing. Good because of the craftsmanship and the diversity of materials...bad because if you break something WTF are you to do?

Sorry for your difficulties with the 1/4 and hope they get sorted out quickly!!!

You mean you don't already have this? I was under the impression you were one of the biggest Enterbay-shippers on SSF

I planned to get one around a bit earlier this year after Batman and Joker had earlier ship dates but they pushed it back so I pushed back getting T800. It's more about timing of payments pretty much. I didn't wanna go and get this too early and charge too much on my cards.

I started collecting 1/6 stuff with some Enterbay stuff and then go into some HT stuff. Mainly cuz I was a fan of the Asian movie licenses they had. I wasn't really huge on collecting super hero stuff aside from Batman, which at the time was hella sold out and prices were insanely driven up.

I understand. Timing can be everything, particularly when credit cards are maxed out or close to it.

Interesting that they can't help you. I bought mine from BBTS, and it had a silver snap missing from the jacket. I sent EB an email requesting they send me one, they replied within 48 hours. It took a few weeks, but they sent me a packet with a dozen replacement snaps.
