Enterbay: Django Unchained

Thanks for your honesty. I will just be SO angry if I don't get my hands on these. Why should somebody else's feelings be spared in exchange for my freedom to buy what I want? I want these, bad. Just like I wanted the Neca ones. If these get canceled as well because some cry baby in the corner can't stand the thought of them existing, then I'm going to go ballistic.

I've never sculpted an action figure before, but I've built some before by gathering the different parts and such. I really want a Django to display proudly. I'd be willing to make my own and give it a shot, but I know it wouldn't look nearly as good as a profession one.

I hope we hear something from Enterbay soon about the status/possibility of these.

You and me both buddy. Those NECA figures looked terrible so no one was loosing sleep, but I'm going ape**** over this if they do not get made.

The only people who are still making race an issue at all are those who are protesting things like this. They should wake up and actually realize what day and age we live in. The US. just had a black president that was inaugurated for his second term on Martin Luthor King day. Enough tiptoeing around the race card already, no one is denying the horrors of American History but how are protests like this going to help with racism?

I agree completely. The people who cry racism are probably the most racist of us all. Well, except for people who are actually lashing out in violence towards people of other races, but you get what I mean. Why is it racist to have a black doll from a movie that deals with slavery? Good god.

Can't really compare NECA's to Enterbay's. It's like comparing a DC Direct to DX12. People who are losing sleep over the NECA's are the ones who could've bought sets and made a bundle but did not.

I just hope they don't cancel the Enterbay ones and I think it should have a good chance since Enterbay is a specialty maker. Unlike NECA figures, you can't just go to your local Toys 'R' Us or even any comic book store to buy an Enterbay.

Agreed, the only thing the NECA figs have going for them are the cool boxes and the limited run.

I also think the fact that they are more 'doll-like' and therefore more 'kid friendly' does help, whereas Enterbay figs are distinctly for collectors.

I hope you guys are right. You make good points; Enterbay is specialty and you can't just walk into an average store and buy one. And they aren't doll-like, which I agree maybe contributed to the Neca ones being pulled.

NECA is an American Company and has a massive customer base. EB is the polar opposite.


Also, I'm really surprised how these figures aren't up on EB's website, but BBTS has them on pre-order since almost a month.
