the head sculpt.

if you have been following the progress from the beginning, when it was still a proto by arnie, proto by EB after arnie left, and the final production piece, you can see the huge backward steps in terms of likeness, sculpt and paintjob.

Arnie is god.

Not that Arnie is God. Hes just as good as the next sculptor like kojun or yulli. Difference is just that hes been constantly doing bruce for the past 10 years or so, where yulli or kojun, they normally do a character for a few months and move on to a different character.

so technically, hes got an edge over the other sculptor in terms of bruce. But if you were to compare their sculpting skills, Id say they are more or less the same. Look at his rocky, mr bean, gump sculpt, its pretty standard I must say.

The thing is that EB as a company isnt as good as HT is. And if HT was handling this project, Im confident to say that it will be on par if not better than what was shown on the initial proto pics.

finishing up arnie's work, when hes a pretty decent sculptor as well

btw havent heard of any word of rovojin, is he still with EB?

or has he moved to HT as well?

As an artist, I must admit that his work is wayy better than arnie, yulli etc. Paint job is amazing.

We all know how EB is always showing spectaular proto pics, get people all excited and POed. And have the final production looking way lesser, than what was shown.

And Ive been looking at some of Enterbays Bruce Lee figure on the internet to give me an idea of what this one may cost and theyre expensive as hell. Why does EB charge so much for their figures?

Enterbay up there with Hot Toys? naaah, not by a long shot, they definitely have some of the best talents in the business but they lack proper proto to finished product QC and of late their quality have taken a major beating.
Enterbay's stuff is hell expensive cause until sometime back they had the monopoly on Bruce Lee figures, and it doesnt hurt to say that they started out giving stuff like a full wooden diorama and made strides in 1/6th world that did revolutionise likeness and sculpt, however being exclusive and having limited number of releases (each individually numbered guaranteeing exclusivity) made their products pretty much exclusive THUS sought after and Evil Bayers as usual try to take too much of an advantage on that... this fake inflation by them is further supported by the fact that some people are desperate/passionate AND have the money disposable to buy it at those rediculous prices. This make Enterbay BL's all so pricey... but if you see Ebay recently, HT coming into the game HAS affected prices

I cannot believe that WotD statue looks like that as a final product. I am losing even more confidence on Enterbay now.

I think we are the ones that make the ebay prices go high. I rmember when I sold my AVP Scar because my daughter was scared of him and I was not deep into collecting as I am now and wish I had not sold it. Anyways, set the bidding to start at $100 and hoped I got at leat the $180 I paid for it when relased (1 year and a half had passed). It sold for $400.

After that, I noticed that everyone had very high prices for it and now, just search for one and see how much people want for one there.

This is a unique set alright,im getting this but i think the studio equipment is kinda uneccessery.A Bigger Wooden Backdrop like the Fist of Fury has would be nicer though.

Almost exactly the same size as FOF backdrop. This was the original GOD diorama that they were going to include but decided against it.
