That's not cool. You come on here finding out Cosmostarx gets an RMX set as a replacement, & you don't, & to top it off you get another blemished body.I guess I not the lucky one. Just receive the replacement body today.
First, not a RM-X set.
Second, I found white line and wrinkles on the neck area.
Emailing Enterbay again. No good at all.
So, has this figure been a disaster for many? Just popping in, wanted to know if this was worth the purchase?
I disagree & kinda agree at the same time. Was it worth it? For me, I would say I had a good experience with this purchase & I like the figure. Overall I like it better than what HT is offering at the moment. This figure was cool at the time I purchased it.No, to my mind it was far from worth it. Bruce Lee is supposed to pose, yet EB gave us a rubber body that would disintegrate if we did it.
HT came up with a much better design and when Arnie fully gets back to Bruce duties we'll see stuff from them that will wipe the floor with this.
I think the proto for this figure is on par with Arnies work. I think EB's production & adding EVision to the BD head sculpt, is what made it not as good as it could have been. In fact, I think Arnies work at EB also shared the same problem.EB without Arnie is like a plane without a tail

Now you can get it with an extra RMX set, delivered, for $380 at EB's siteI'd rate this set a 3.5 out of 5. I just wished it didn't cost me $400 total lol
I don't know if it would have been less after already showing the proto Peeps seemed to be excited about the possibility of a seamless body. But yeah, if this was released with a normal articulated body, without us expecting a seamless body, it might have been better for EB. I actually like the experiment with this body though. It is limited in the articulation department, but I like the way it looks & works & how different it is too the other bodies I ownif they would have stuck with the BL3.5 or improved that rather than go with the rubber body(the proto was so much better) moans and groans may have been far less
$400...3.5? That to me is an easy pass.My first Bruce Lee 1/6, IMO I wasn't totally unsatisfied. I'm just shocked at the amount of defective stuff right out the box from Enterbay and Hot Toys in general. Makes me regret getting anything 1/6 related to be honest. Not Enterbay specifically.
Since I did get replacement parts with normal email response, I am not as dissatisfied. I'm bummed Mike only got a body and one that's blatantly rushed since it looks like the rubber coating on the body was clearly not finalized.
I didn't have previous Bruce Lee figures but I did get the casual suit one with the smiley face recently and I can definitely use some pose ability on this one. Too bad it can't because of limited articulation. I'm okay with it for now. I just wanted something that looks good.
I like the head sculpts. I prefer this smiley head sculpt to the Hot Toys one more. The smiley head looks more natural here compared to the Hot Toys one. The Hot Toys one is too fake and unnatural looking. You can probably repaint that Bruce Lee head and use as a Joker bash lol
The Evision makes the battle damaged head too googly eye looking. The problem here is that for most of Bruce Lee's expressions, his eyes are more focused and strained looking. Here we have a more natural neutral expression from the size of the eye sockets. Again, like Larry pointed out it's the way these eyes had to be implemented so we can't get the right look we want.
The diorama is nice, all the other accessories are pretty cool. USB powered lights is cool. Tons of hands for gestures to make up for lack of pose ability is alright with me. And two outfits!
I'd rate this set a 3.5 out of 5. I just wished it didn't cost me $400 total lol
Was the 'HK Anicom Fair' the place where the special smiley sculpt was sold? The one with the eyes looking in the other direction? I can't rememberThis set was specially bought from HK Anicom Fair with the help of my HK friend. Didn't expect even a exhibition set will be a defected one.
