That's nice, cosmo. Agreed last rubber body to collect.
Chris, i have asked what you told me. Thanks for the advice.

Mmm... Tao of JKD expanded edition just arrived. Fun stuff to read while I'm bored at work!

I guess I not the lucky one. Just receive the replacement body today.
First, not a RM-X set.
Second, I found white line and wrinkles on the neck area.

Emailing Enterbay again. No good at all.

So, has this figure been a disaster for many? Just popping in, wanted to know if this was worth the purchase?

No, to my mind it was far from worth it. Bruce Lee is supposed to pose, yet EB gave us a rubber body that would disintegrate if we did it.

HT came up with a much better design and when Arnie fully gets back to Bruce duties we'll see stuff from them that will wipe the floor with this.

EB without Arnie is like a plane without a tail

That's not cool. You come on here finding out Cosmostarx gets an RMX set as a replacement, & you don't, & to top it off you get another blemished body.

I don't know how EB decides which peeps gets a boxed RMX set & which don't, but consistency doesn't seem to be their thing.

the very least EB should have done is replace all defect bodies with an RM-X set.and yep poor customer service EB.tell them you want the set as a replacement as the 2nd body is also defective(i'd want my shipping costs back too)if EB want our hard earned cash and want us to continue purchasing goods from them, then they should sort out any QC issues prior to boxing/shipping items out.rubber body-great in theory, poor in execution and finish.back to the drawing board for the next bruce 1/6 guys.as a big bruce lee fan,and owner of most of the EB figures, this is the worst one by EB so for (i'm glad i did'nt buy the complete set.made mine from bits here and there.
i'm even using BL3.5' as bodies and completely happy doing so(my RM-X body is used for a custom ETD with a DX head)

I disagree & kinda agree at the same time. Was it worth it? For me, I would say I had a good experience with this purchase & I like the figure. Overall I like it better than what HT is offering at the moment. This figure was cool at the time I purchased it.

Would I recommend going ahead & purchasing this figure now? Maybe not. With EB's 1/4 figure/statue being teased & the rumour of another HT BL figure release. I think it might be a good idea to wait & see :D

That's the thing with BL figures though. There seems to be a frequent enough release of BL figures, & if made right, can make older versions obsolete. Unless you are a completist of course.

I think the proto for this figure is on par with Arnies work. I think EB's production & adding EVision to the BD head sculpt, is what made it not as good as it could have been. In fact, I think Arnies work at EB also shared the same problem.

Even though I know the BD head sculpt could have been better without EVision, I think it still looks good. It looks good here in Cosmostarx's pic.

i'm happy with the sculpts, prefer the BD to the smiley, but they look just as good on the ole BL3.5's as mine are

and as i dont do the usual ''topless'' pose i'm happy that way ;)

My first Bruce Lee 1/6, IMO I wasn't totally unsatisfied. I'm just shocked at the amount of defective stuff right out the box from Enterbay and Hot Toys in general. Makes me regret getting anything 1/6 related to be honest. Not Enterbay specifically.

Since I did get replacement parts with normal email response, I am not as dissatisfied. I'm bummed Mike only got a body and one that's blatantly rushed since it looks like the rubber coating on the body was clearly not finalized.

I didn't have previous Bruce Lee figures but I did get the casual suit one with the smiley face recently and I can definitely use some pose ability on this one. Too bad it can't because of limited articulation. I'm okay with it for now. I just wanted something that looks good.

I like the head sculpts. I prefer this smiley head sculpt to the Hot Toys one more. The smiley head looks more natural here compared to the Hot Toys one. The Hot Toys one is too fake and unnatural looking. You can probably repaint that Bruce Lee head and use as a Joker bash lol

The Evision makes the battle damaged head too googly eye looking. The problem here is that for most of Bruce Lee's expressions, his eyes are more focused and strained looking. Here we have a more natural neutral expression from the size of the eye sockets. Again, like Larry pointed out it's the way these eyes had to be implemented so we can't get the right look we want.

The diorama is nice, all the other accessories are pretty cool. USB powered lights is cool. Tons of hands for gestures to make up for lack of pose ability is alright with me. And two outfits!

I'd rate this set a 3.5 out of 5. I just wished it didn't cost me $400 total lol

:goodpost: cosmo.
if they would have stuck with the BL3.5 or improved that rather than go with the rubber body(the proto was so much better) moans and groans may have been far less..apart from GOD1 and nokia i have all the EB BL figures, but even I am glad i didnt buy the complete set,as no doubt that kinda money (£230-240) i would have been kinda cheesed off.
over to you EB..must do better for us brucey fans on the next one be it 1/6 or 1/4..you want our £s then justify the price and quality
or you may find people shifting over to HT..they do have arnie kim now..''must try harder'' is my opinion
3 outta 5 from me

Thanks for all the comments. I dun mind if they replace me with a good body without the RM-X set. But this time really pissed me off, I will definately demand for a new RM-X set from them.

This set was specially bought from HK Anicom Fair with the help of my HK friend. Didn't expect even a exhibition set will be a defected one. This is my 1st toy collection and turn out to be such a bad experience.

It's ok. I will ensure that they give me a better one this time.

make sure you do that..EB are even including the RM-X set with the GOD set now,so tell em you want the bloody set as a replacement not another body for their ____-up.dont settle for less

Now you can get it with an extra RMX set, delivered, for $380 at EB's site :lol

I don't know if it would have been less after already showing the proto :lol Peeps seemed to be excited about the possibility of a seamless body. But yeah, if this was released with a normal articulated body, without us expecting a seamless body, it might have been better for EB. I actually like the experiment with this body though. It is limited in the articulation department, but I like the way it looks & works & how different it is too the other bodies I own :D

Money might have been better spent on something else, other than the EVision system though :D

$400...3.5? That to me is an easy pass.

Was the 'HK Anicom Fair' the place where the special smiley sculpt was sold? The one with the eyes looking in the other direction? I can't remember :D

Yes. Larry, this is the one with eyes looking in another direction. The different with this set include BL signature on the figure stand, camera holder and "Director" wording behind the wooden chair. The rest is the same as a normal set.
