Very curious to see how his gaze will work in the posing. From all the pics it looks as though Ip's eyes are spot on if he's staring at his outstretched fingers, but not much else. Why no movable eyes EB?

man i hope the mass release version is better with the paint not coming off.
anyone have photos of the nude body? i read on the bbicn forum that bodies are really loose in some areas and crazy tight to the point where it doesnt move in others. feedback and photos would be great. i'm holding out hoping they nail it.

I agree. Moveable eyes should've been included with this figure. Sure, Ip's hair style makes it difficult to hide the cut/separation line, but it could have been done.
There's issues of paint coming off? Is this widespread?
As for the body, I guess it's just luck. I had two Enterbay figures in the past that used the RM1 body (Jet Li and Jack Bauer). One had perfectly tight, strong joints yet the other was really loose. Luck of the draw I guess.

This might sound obvious...
...but it has only just occurred to me after looking at picture after picture of a near-focusing Ip Man, that this figure was painted very deliberately with the wooden dummy in mind.
So the figure will look great posing with the dummy - but blank or groggy in just about any other pose ?

You have a point. The figure's stare looks like how Donnie looks while he's training on the dummy in the film. Actually, outside of combat, Donnie's eyes do look like that.
If Enterbay intentionally painted the eyes that way, it's ill-advised, in my opinion. Wouldn't everybody want the eyes to look like they're focused, with the training dummy or otherwise?

..yeh, and the proto pics gave the impression that the eyes were focused, to me at least.
Oh well, I'm still going to love this figure, blank stare and all. I can't wait til it ships, I hope that an order direct through EB means an August ship
that's probably the hot toys tt body. you can see the head and hands dont match the body skin color. dont anyone have photos of the nude body? or is it so bad no one wants to show it?
omg, do you have any problems with the paint on the nose rubbing off in the box? several members here and on the bbi forum have experienced the same problem. it doesnt look like it from your photos, but i wonder how easy eb is to deal with if any problems arise. i've gone through ht service before and they take the slow gravy boat to replace anything

There was a photo of the RM3 body posted here about a week ago but it's been taken down (or imageshack has removed it due to bandwith).
Several members here have had problems with paint rubs? I think only 1 so far. I don't think it's become widespread yet. I remember Enterbay's Jack Bauer figure and this problem due to the packaging.

That is indeed a Hot Toys body. An Advanced True Type to be exact. Most likely OMG changes it to a HT body cause the ETB one has loose joints and really slouchy shoulders not to mention it is also a little thin for Ip Man.

The Truetype does give him better shoulders and neck.
