Tell me about it. It is more a learned behavior now. I just recently sold off the remainder of my Kenner SW stuff. Including a 100 piece 12" collection. In the course of selling those I came across the Hot Toys Jack Sparrow and really took notice at how far 1/6 scale had come since the early days of SW SSC. Of course I had to look at what else was available. That mistake roped me in. Had originally planned to keep my focus strictly on Gentle Giant SW busts. The rest is history. Good thing is I don't collect anything really comic book related so I wo't go broke trying to keep up with Avengers, Iron Man, X-Men, Spiderman, etc. TDK Joker is the exception to that rule. Only because he is iconic.

You are correct. The MIB comic series was first published in 1990.

Yeah, sometimes they're red hot on confirmation, sometimes they're not. I got it quickly when I initially ordered my Respect Scarface. Then, when they botched the order and sent me the War by mistake, I didn't get confirmation that they'd sent the replacement Respect till after I had the figure in hand.

It did. But I meant more of the big comic book characters like Avengers and X-Men. Most people don't equate MIB with comic books.

Yeah I saw EB did their teaser not too long after HT did their full reveal. The battle begins.

Both as bad as each other aren't they? Still it's good for us guys. They keep pushing each other and we get all the best figures out there.

Both look good but imho the EB sculpt is better! I'm a big fan of HT but that EB sculpt is amazing and the detail in the skin.
