the thing about that calm sculpt is...even if the likeness is dead on...Bruce lee usually is never that droopy eyed, he almost looks sleepy. He's either got a stern look or a cocky grin.

Man.. that EB X-Mas promotion... couldn't resist.
Over HKD3000 purchase, VIP Membership, and when Robocop comes in the next 3-4 weeks, after that purchase, a free EB Basketball Backboard. Totally worth it.

The Calm sculpt... is really not that great. I can't say its the worst, but its definetly under par. If you look at it head on, the resemblence is terrible. Face is too wide, and that expression... man.. that is the biggest crime. Looks like he just found out his dog got killed. More so... it looks like my expression when i saw that sculpt in person

It can look ok i guess, depending on lighting, side view, and it tends to look better when you look up at it. I'm in no rush to buy another BL body, to make this a 2 for 1.

The angry expression is definetly the winner. The paint apps are excellent, however, strangely it dosen't come out in photos. You definetly need a good pose to bring that one to life. The teeth aint the tobacco coffee stained shade of yellow in previous pictures.

The body, although i haven't stripped him, does look pretty nice, and even the legs have paint apps on it. They added those red freckles that all HT faces seem to have these days. Nice touch, although no ones gonna see them.

Didn't have time to play with it last night, just a few snaps outta the box.

Thanks for the reviews guys. I kinda want this (the roar sculpt & body anyway) again. I think for a FoF bash, so the FoF outfit can hide the neck area a bit for the roar sculpt.

Not now though. Maybe after the holiday season.

Still think Enterbay's original Bruce Lee body series was the best option ....don't know why the obsession with changing it.

Not only was it the most robust (no rubber chest sleeve) but it was the most poseable and the forearm joins hid any wrist joints.

Making a poorer looking versions of Hot Toys DX Lee body ...why?

No kidding. It's the route I wanted them to go with their 1/4 series, maybe with more detail & less shine (or was that only on the knock off bodies?), but it didn't happen.

Nice review Stanlore. Glad you got your BB LEE. Well worth it . Some mood lighting pics for Larry and Chris now , you know you want it I hope on line orders get the Xmas promotion too. Agree with SAB on the body, but the body proportion is good .inhand it looks like a mini Bruce on display.just as long as the fig company never give us bodies like the HT Amazing spider-man body then am happy !

I only wanted Blondie. I was thinking about getting the trio & try to sell the other 2, but I'm not sure how fast or well those would sell without Blondie. I decided to pass. Plus that price is kinda crazy for me right now, for figures based on a movie I'm not that familiar with

I think the main iMiniMe figures I'm focused on right now, are 'The Last Of Us' figures

if you have the FOF set desisandy stick either sculpt with the messy hair on this and I bet it looks far better.
best case for me,get a CHEAP roar sculpt,sort the hair and eyebrows out
add some shading to the sculpt...if I can be bothered

so you didn't PO this yet what new lighting? you already have your fancy display box that,ll work.i want to see if this will display well in there joking aside .do get the roar sculpt, it's good for more dynamic poses.

RE roaring sculpt ''santa'' in HK has put one on order for me ''end of December/ start january'' with the xmas mail etc''...gutted it cost me so much $35 shipped.
