I've been looking through this thread, and asking on other forums, and I have found no clear written answer as to what the ankles on this body do.

It's clear there's a back and forth pivot joint, but, there has to be a ball joint in there somewhere as the feet move from side to side and stay flat in wide stances.

Could someone please tell me exactly how the joints work and if they are sturdy? I have a Scarface on the way and need to know how well I can expect him to stand up.

Close up pics of the ankles in action will be most welcome

I am getting my mr han this week. I will try to post some photos on the ankles if possible.

Thanks for that,

There'd be nothing worse than getting a figure the quality of Scarface only for it to keep hitting the deck. I don't have room for stands where it'll be displayed.

Oh, the RM5 ankles are ball jointed. I'll take some pictures in a bit. They are better than the RM4 ankles. They're ball jointed like the muscle body wrists.

You can rotate them then bend. So they are kind of more sturdy than the Hot Toys ankles that have double ended ball joints which can kind of wobble a bit unless it has the foamie or strong boots aha

Oh, I get it, they're like the old SSC Buck feet, you turn the forward/backward joint sideways for side to side stances, don't you!?

Or is there a ball joint on the end of the bit in the middle of the forward/backward joint!? Errrrrrrrrrrrr................

yeah it's back and forward and you can turn it. It's basically a giant peg like the wrists. It is a little clicky inside so it holds very still in position.

Looks like they lightened the use of the spray on your batch from the coloring. Looks better than mine. Glad to see that.

Ok, so, if it's like a wrist peg then the bit the hand would ordinarily pop onto is like a ball joint so the feet can move from side to side independantly of the backward and forward pivot joint. Does that sound right!?

LOL, not making this easy am I!?

uhhhhhhhh whatever you say!

Pisses me off that they seem to have fixed the skintone problems. Enterbay had the balls to demand I pay to return their crappy first batch to them if I wanted a replacement. I might just wait and get one from BBTS just to spite them.
