Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

If I lived in a mansion perhaps I would not hate the idea of 1/4

Reality = live in a small London apartment and more than 3-4 1/4 figures and it'll look like my figures have a 1:1 collection of me and my wife as opposed to the other way around :lol

Plus it is quite clearly just HT's latest attempt at shutting down EB

I know the feeling mate, I get away with murder with the amount of collectibles I get, I have a feeling 1/4 scale may just tip the mrs over the edge..:panic:

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

I think Enterbay will hit a homerun with TDK 1/4 figures because the T2 T-800 Ahhhhnuld's outfit is REAL LEATHER

The shotgun is made of metal and wood
The endo arm is metal

So the detail on a 1/4 TDK Bats will be insane , just watch

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl at the 1:1 of you and the wife.

But I could care less the reason why HT is doing it, just give me a bad ass 1/4 Batman.

Come to US and drive a suburban GM truck, destroying the environment and dependent on foreign oil one mile at a time :yess:

I wonder if there's more room in my SUV than your bedroom :horror

I really don't understand the 1/4 scale hate floating around.
If there's hate, then I don't know where it's coming from. Just don't buy if you don't like. I can see statue collectors fearing that this may make their favorite collectibles a thing of the past, but they should keep in mind that statues are already more of a niche collectible than action figures. PFs are often produced in the hundreds, while HT figures are produced in 1,000s (of course, there are a handful of exceptions to both, but the general rule applies). The market isn't gonna go away. These are different kinds of things made for different collectors.

I don't think these will be a huge long term staple in the collecting industry, but they're cool and I will definitely pick up a couple for the collection, anyway.

Statue makers will now be forced to have moveable arms, legs and necks that swivel on a flat plane :lol

The Begins suit is way too fat looking... In my opinion. Don't hurt mee! :O

Plus I meant if you nabbed an extra Joker, stuck a Christian Bale head on him and got the suit dyed (I'm almost certain this will be bank robber Joker) thats a Bruce Wayne right there.

Wow, enterbay might have the upper hand in 1/4. Looking forward to the quality of these figs, especially Joker

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

We haven't seen a Hot Toys 1:4 figure yet, although Enterbay's was impressive, I'm sure HT has one in house to pick apart and it'll make their entrance into the realm one to watch.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

HT is going to bust out a better 1:4 Bats and T800 and its gonna be cheaper. Fo sho

Gotta love EB giving them competition though.

I'm not gonna wait for Hot Toys with this one. Batman Begins, mother____ers!!

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

I'm not entirely up on the up-to-the-minute Hot Toys & Enterbay 1/4 Batman annoucements so I need some expertise please.
Has both Enterbay & Hot Toys officially announced their plans of doing a 1/4 scale Batman Begins costume figure?
If so, for owners of both EB & HT figures, what would you recommend as the superior manufacturer as far as sculpt and quality?

So far I believe HT's has only announced TDKR / Avengers / 1989 Batman / Batman Returns in 1/4 scale. So far the only thing (in hand) you could use as reference of quality is Enterbays Terminator 2 Arnold figure.
