Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

Interesting. I was going to pass on the EB T800 thinking this would be out soon. Maybe I won't :lol

Well here's the thing, they've shown this piece also for a looooooooooong time too :lol

This could be out soon.

I just bought the enterbay t-800 and it has blown my mind. I own ALOT of hot toys and I will be the first to say that these 1/4 figures make all of them look like mere toys. I already have a place waiting for this guy. Enterbay bring it on baby.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

^ lately they've had a quick turnaround :lecture

I sure hope so. Their announcement way back in the day (1/4 scale) had/has me very pumped.

I can't imagine a 1/4 scale removable cowl looking like anything but a Halloween mask. :(

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

It's probably an alternate head with the set.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

That'd be cool, question now is, how do we customize a 1/4 Bruce Wayne?:lol

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

I was gonna mention the chest scrape. Is that the original sculpted piece before it gets turned into a mold for rubber? Because surely it can't scratch that easy

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

please let it have weathering...and use silicone for the suit and cowl. please dont turn it into goop at least for a lifetime...please please please.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

Silicon would be a good option yeah, but I guess it's expensive? Maybe Vinyl

:exactly: but to add to that I also hope that their 'wrench' style articulation would be sturdier than what they've currently done with the T-800. Seems that what's keeping them stiff is because they are using teeth like bumps to keep the pose stay in place. There would be two halves of these teeth like bumps. Both grinding together which keeps the joint locked in place. The down side of it is that they designed the teeth as part of the plastic. It will grind together with the other half of the teeth surface. Which is why you get that 'wrench' sound and stiffness. The more you move it up and down,In time they will start to wear, so we better not move the joints all the time. Especially the knees and shoulder area as they support the majority of the weight of the whole figure.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

I really dont like the wrench-ish articulation on the T-800. It already doesn't work as well as it should
