Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

There's going to be a way to do it without making the sculpt suffer, whether that's now with EB, or a few years later with someone else, eventually, we will get there.
:goodpost:
I'd like to see genuine innovation

As long as it doesn't turn out like this:

I'd like to see how that look like, too.

Well, clearly if EB can't make it look GOOD, they won't go with that feature. :lol

Like I said, it will happen someday.

Also, Tim, why do we need the rubber batsuit to be removable with a base body underneath? Why aren't we just happy with a one piece design?

The hobby has always moved towards incorporating real world functionality into the figures, I see no reason why we shouldn't see attempts at realistic looking removable cowls eventually

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

I don't feel the need for a rubber oversuit, so long as it looked good.

Just differing opinions I guess.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

I agree with void, innovate or GTFO out of the business.

By their 5th 1/4 Batman that muther____er better be able to swing thru my collection room and by their 10th he should be solving crimes in my collection room (my neighborhood is really not his problem).

Yep AIM HIGH.....innovation is key- not just business as usual:wave

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

The first attempts at doing new things might not always turn out great, but if the companies believe they're doing something that's worth investing their money in due to innovation, they can't let all the whinning that will inevitably follow the first releases discourage them.

You make that should as if the debate was for and against innovation. It wasn't.

I'm all for innovation, just find the removable cowl idea for this utterly redundant.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

it would be cool :) but as i own two Batman Begin 1:1 cowls that are movie accurate, putting one on and taking it off is a B**CH and from what i learned Bale and the stuntmen put them on with baby powder inside the cowl to make it easier to slip on...and it does work better!. But on a small 1/4 - 1/6 figure, this site will be full of "my Batman head is broken now and hes covered in baby powder":lol

Well, the mask doesn't need to be accurate in its material construction, just in how it looks, unlike most high-end prop replicas. The back of the Hot Toys DX09 Batman's head comes off entirely and nobody seemed to mind it too much.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

I don't really know how I feel about a removable cowl, I'd be happy if they even constructed it with two separate pieces (cowl and head). That being said, I think that we'll get removable cowls when we get real hair.lol

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

Hm, After lots of thought I think I want one Cowl head, One balr head, as I doubt EB will give us two Bale heads
