Are we a bit homophobic? I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder... I don't see any 'sexual tension' between those two. I agree, they touch each other quite a few times, but to me, it feels like they are just over-acting big times. I don't see the sexual dimension of this. Just simple and plane bad acting IMO.[SIZE=-1]

It's a thin line between bad acting and two dudes being too intimate IMHO.

Male bonding is a tricky thing... esp. in the 70's.

You could argue that Yoda just saw a wookie with Han and Leia and no way of knowing it was Chewie. Or you could say that Yoda was just being tightlipped and kept his mouth shut. Or maybe Yoda and Obi-Wan had a massive brain fart during ESB and forgot all about Chewie and Leia. But mostly I think that in 1980 Lucas had no clue Yoda spent time on Kashyyyk during the clone wars.

Of course Lucas could always go back and add Yoda saying, "With them Chewbacca is, safe they will be." And then won't that piss alotta people off!

Why should Yoda have to acknowledge it anyways? Not aimed at you.

I think I posted this one already over here, but this site https://www.chefelf.com/starwars/ep1_1-10.php has some good reasons why there exists some frustration over the continuity of the PT to the OT. I don't agree with everything on there, but some of it is humorous and quite true.

I can't believe I read EVERY dang one of those... my eyes are bleeding. I don't agree with a lot of them either but they are definatly funny.

The 70's was a very strange decade indeed.

But had some great movies, funky music and the greatest most creative custom cars and vans the world will ever see.

On that note, where is my DVD of Corvette Summer?????????????????? Come on dammit, release it already!!1!!!

I think I posted this one already over here, but this site https://www.chefelf.com/starwars/ep1_1-10.php has some good reasons why there exists some frustration over the continuity of the PT to the OT. I don't agree with everything on there, but some of it is humorous and quite true.

Straight from the cyber-whiners... the ones who claim that Lucas has rapped their childhood. It looks like adult life still eludes them.

Given time and their all encompassing hatred for Lucas, they just might link him to the current high gas prices, the bird flu, and the war in Iraq. Hey, this might be the new "Six Degrees of Separation from Kevin Bacon" game.

I found the whole site repugnant. Truly petty stuff. Note they only hate the additions to the original trilogy. Apparently, the original trilogy, as released, is flawless.

Sometimes I'm really ashamed to call myself a Star Wars fan. I think it might be time to go back in the closet.

I hate to admit it, I became a geek in the 70's after star wars came out. Been one ever since.
