Its nice to know the shipping cost before it ships. This should be a standard policy.
I thought we were meant to get notice 15 days before shipping with the shipping costs? that is what happened with the Sam doll and what is meant to be happening from now on.
Yeah i agree then we have a chance to cancel if the shipping is too high.We shouldn't have to ask for a quote. It should be given on the final invoice which should be issued before the item ships.
i didn't even know my latest piece was going to ship until i got a fedex shipping number and then it still didn't mention shipping costs, that arrived a day or 2 later i think.
Did you get hit for duty and vat?
Yeah i agree then we have a chance to cancel if the shipping is too high.
That sucks i was told in an email i'll have shipping costs before my Vader bust ships incase i need to cancel.
to be fair that could have been a one off or the email could have vanished but i was suprised i got a tracking number and i didn't know what for.
it's due to arrive tomorrow so i dont know yet. sideshow says fedex will ring me so i can pay vat and whatever but i've used fedex for years for work and although i rarely get charges they've always just sent the bills through the post a week or so after the item gets delivered.
someone a few posts above got a fedex delivery already but didn't sound like they got a phone call either. which i dont think will happen.
Do Fedex collect COD? or do you have to pay them with CC before they deliever?
You will receive an invoice through the post requesting payment of enclosed fees within a specified time, after receiving your goods.
first i receive the package and then i pay???that's weird!
FedEx will only contact you via telephone and request you pay clearance fees if said fees are above a predetermined amount. Any duties below this sum will be paid by FedEx themselves and then billed to you via mail once you've received your shipment.
