Go Spain.Was quite suprised with the scoreline but i think the conditions worked against the Russians quick passing game.

That now takes Spain to 21 matches undefeated and the only team not to have lost or even drawn in this tournament(except pen Italy) so therefore i think they would be deserving winners.

They have the best young team in the world with the likes of Torres,Villa,Silva,Fabregas but will have to overcome the mental condition and experience of the Germans.

No doubt Germany will start favourites but if Spain win i think football will also be the winner.Good luck to all the German fans but go El Nino and the lads.

El Nino scores and Spain deservedly take out the Euro'08.

It's not too often that the best team overall actually wins it so well done to the spanish.Commiserations to any german fans i'm sure as usual they'll be there abouts in future tournaments.

Germany did exceptionally well to make the final and had chances early but overall Spain controlled the game and in the end could have won by more.Now for Torres to take his form into next year with the reds.

As much as it saddened me, the Germans didn't deserve to win. Spain was the better team and should've secured the game by the first half. Great tournament. One of the best I've seen.

I think many of Spain's players are very overrated especially Torres but they deserved to beat Germany who were a shadow of their past teams.
In saying that I think the Germans deserve some credit in getting to the final with what was their worst team in years and it says a lot about their mentality that they kept on going despite only having one or two real quality players.
