I want to go in full Ash regalia, but my parents are convinced I'll be mistaken for a terrorist.

You will. They don't allow ANY costumes, or weapons, fake or not into the theater any more.

That's the thing; I'm not bringing the boomstick and my chainsaw is a plastic, Texas Chainsaw toy taped to a glove. It can't be mistaken for the real thing a mile away.

Doesn't matter. If you bring in a lightsaber into a theater, it's still illegal. It's all illegal now.

Just came back from the advanced screening...
Wow... it was absolutely brutal... NOT for the faint of heart... for sure...
Fans of the franchise will enjoy a plethora of "easter eggs", yet some purists might not like it at all.
All in all, a worthy remake, and we don't see a lot of those this days...

I enjoyed it... pretty gruesome stuff... lots of gore, story is actually pretty good but the only thing I didn't like was

How the "demon" was portrayed... I was expecting something a little freakier I guess...

Also, stay after the credits!!

I didn't realize it was illegal all over. I'm gonna call and ask.

WTF dude... didn't you hear about what happened last year in Aurora? :slap

Some ******* in tactical gear with a ****-ton of guns makes trouble and now it's against the law to dress like Harry Potter or a Stormtrooper at any movie theater? I didn't get that memo.
