Just came back from the advanced screening...
Wow... it was absolutely brutal... NOT for the faint of heart... for sure...
Fans of the franchise will enjoy a plethora of "easter eggs", yet some purists might not like it at all.
All in all, a worthy remake, and we don't see a lot of those this days...
I enjoyed it... pretty gruesome stuff... lots of gore, story is actually pretty good but the only thing I didn't like was
How the "demon" was portrayed... I was expecting something a little freakier I guess...
Also, stay after the credits!!

No, didn't read the script, so don't know what you're referring to...
Basically the demon needs to "eat" 5 souls to materialize, and towards the end it does... even though it only had 4 souls actually... so I don't know what happened there 
But it's basically the possessed girl from the opening sequence...
Also, I was bummed that this scene is NOT in the movie...
