Canceled this out. As cool as it looks and as much of a Disney fan as I am, just isn't high enough on the totempole to keep. We've got so many Disney statues, snowglobes, etc that it was an easier cut.

Same here...so much stuff...but so far, I am holding on to the Queen.

I'm sure the Queen will become a collectors item, since she will be the first SS Disney PF and secondly because 300 is somewhat low for an EX of a Disney item.

I happily had my exclusive waitlist reservation convert as well. Bigger fan of Maleficent than the Evil Queen but gotta have this one, it's too cool.

Poor economy, tons of other choices, and an over saturated Disney market comes to the immediate mind. Nonetheless, I am hanging on to this one.

I'm surprised as well. I got on the Ex Wait List way late and thought it was a waste of time. Fortunately it did convert and payment 1 was made today.

I am doing all I can to keep this. It's too cool. It looks great and it's from the movie that started it all. And I'd be lying to say the low ES didn't play a part. I will be curious to see how the value of this plays out. I can't say I'd ever part with it, but I'd feel better knowing all the groveling with the wife to get part of "our" fund to supplement "my" fund (so I can still get other things) was for something that can't be picked up for 3/4 of retail on eBay in a couple years.

This will be one of my 3 primo pieces, along with my Sleeping Beauty/Aurora production drawing and Ken Anderson's script from Pete's Dragon. I can't wait.

I take it you are on the flex payment plan? This must mean this piece is getting ready to ship. I agree that besides being a beautiful sculpt, the low edition size makes this an interesting addition. It's hard to predict how or if Disney items will rise in value (due to the over abundance of new product), but the outlook on this one seems bright.

Are you in for the Maleficent PF too?

It was the Flex Pay Ex I ordered. 1/3 due today, 1/3 due Feb. 5th, and the balance (1/3 + final s&h quote) is due March 5th. I can't wait. It's my 1st PF and I'm hoping it arrives issue-free. I know SS customer service is 2nd to none, but I want to put this up the day I get it!!

I'll definitely get on the list for Maleficent, and in all likelihood Chernabog. If I get to keep them is another matter. This one was a must though.

I'm not on the flex pay option, but may have to switch after the holiday season. I am definitely in for Maleficent and The Rocketeer, and am very interested in Chernabog (waiting for more pictures to view paint scheme, but will pre-order to be safe).

I hope they do an Ichabod Crane and Headless Horseman PF! I have the Disney Classics piece, but I prefer the mixture of materials used for the PFs.

I doubt the cancellations for this are really that much higher than any other product. Judging by the number of people who have had waitlists convert I think that cancellations are very common.

I'd be very surprised if one can get this cheap on ebay later, especially the Ex.
As the first PF in the line, from the first animated movie, with such a low ES, if SS nail the QC (ie basically match the prototype), then even given the amount of disney stuff out there, very little else would come close and as such the asking price on ebay will more like be double retail.

But as always, only time will really tell and personally it doesn't matter, I'm getting the Ex and keeping it.

Yes, they can take up to 5 days to charge you. It quite common for SS to charge me 2-3 days later then the flexpay date.

Does anyone else think that if the exclusive had come with her mirror, she would have been a must have? I personally think she is a must have anyway, but her mirror would have been such a nice exclusive piece.

As for the Evil Queen, she looked amazing in person at Comic Con, but I will probably cancel mine. I'm definitely in for Maleficent pending final pics and hope to someday add PFs of Jessica Rabbit, Captain Hook, and Cruella de Vil.

What is the reason for canceling if you don't mind me asking?
