Exactly HOW bad is the Aliens Warrior Hot Toys figure?

I just searched the board looking for pictures of this guy, but every thread that came up was about how the legs broke.

Just how bad is this issue? Do many people have ones that are not broken? Did any come broken right out of the box?

MIne has issues on the footpeg, but it's not broken...

Thrifty, I was hoping that there were more people out there who just haven't complained and haven't yet chimed in about liking theirs. I'm kinda worried about buying one online because I don't want to get one that's broken out of the box.

looks like if it isn't broken right out of the box there's a good chance it will break soon there after. if you can get one for cheap yea, but otherwise it doesn't seem worth it. this one is the only one I don't have and it's the issues with that keeps me from getting one.

Both of mine had broken legs and were standing displayed in a Detolf UNTOUCHED for over a year. One day he was leaning over because the knee joint snapped. Same thing happened to the other one about 6 months later. I've e-mailed Hot Toys about 10 times already and they have never responded to my repeated pleas for replacement parts even at my own expense. Needless to say I passed on the Dog Alien even though I really wanted it.

There was a really good poll/thread on the breakages of all the HT Aliens figs but I think it was made before the AvP-R fig, maybe someone can post a link to that thread? It showed that the blue Aliens warrior was the worst by far.

The blue Aliens warrior is the only alien I have and its knee snapped from posing. HT sent me another. The ankle ball joints are WAY too loose and so is one of the arm/shoulder joints.

Sucks that the only Alien figure i wanted had major QC problems..i was debating gettting the Dog Alien but, it sold out quick at Toys2..is there any QC problems with the Dog?.

I bought mine opened the box and the whole figure fell apart.
I was hoping I wouldn't of had the leg problem but it turns out I ended up with worse.
Since I purchased it from play.com it was apparently new but I am sure it had been opened.
Anyway I got a full refund.

Mine was fine for a few weeks, maybe months I can't remember, then an elbow broke when I was posing him - I wasn't able to fix it without losing the articulation. I don't think the legs ever broke, I don't dare touch the thing anymore to confirm this. Put it this way I don't recall glueing the legs. However it does for definite have the problem of the feet falling off and the paint flakes off with ease. Added to the innaccuracy it makes for a pretty poor figure by HT standards.
