What!?!?!?!? You of all people left your desk when a PF piece was up for order knowing it would sell like crazy.

Couldn't help it dude. We had a $10,000,000 real estate closing today that sort of took priority over ordering a bow and an extra hand for a figure.

Cept I got my U2 tickets afew days before everyone else. Woo!
I also got my Lurtz. Got the alarm to wake me up at 5, back to bed at 5.05.

Quite a diverse, yet very impressive set of collectibles. All rather pricey. Doom is a personal favorite, the plotting, slightly narcissistic pose is very characteristic of him. Vader I thoroughly enjoy as well, and I think most of the complaints about the helmet being too small are ill-founded. As for Lurtz, well I think that goes without saying .

I wasn't able to order the "Exclusive"...I will definitely order the "Regular" Edition thou...

This piece really does look incredible.

For Lurtz? The EE sold out in a little over an hour it seems. The regular edition is still up for pre-order though. So not sold out yet. Without a listed edition size who knows how long it will take to sell out (the regular edition that is).

I'm curious.....how does the numbering work when there is an exclusive and a regular version?
Will the exclusive be numbered as a separate edition. For example....345/750.
Or will the exclusive be numbered as part of the whole edition. For example....345/4000....or whatever the whole edition will be?

The exclusive will be x/750 and the regular will be x/2500 or whatever they decide the edition will be. They are numbered separately.

Even though I know the exclusive sold-out VERY quickly....I think the main reason for that being $$$$ signs in some peoples eyes etc. I don't think the regular version will sell anywhere near as quickly, because most of the LOTR/Weta nuts. (us included ..), got in for the exclusive....and with the relatively high price $350....I think it will scare a lot of "sort of" collectors away...

So, 1250-1500 would be about right I think...Any more would, in my humble opinion, flood the market too much...If you are going to charge this amount for a statue, you can't over-supply the market, no matter how much they cost to make...Because there will be a point where these figure/statues will drop significantly in value...And that's good for no-one...SS included. You only have to look at the ES of 7500 and above from previous releases to see that..
