Here's the final result of my latest research project: Reconstructions of the four photographs that Dr. Haywood Floyd was given aboard the moon bus, showing the location and magnetic field of the monolith.
These were TOUGH to get right, but I eventually did it. They were curved and distorted by perspective, which needed to be corrected. Then I rebuilt them totally, correct text and all. I predict these will be put to good use in the future...

I'll give a banana reward to anyone who can identify Clavius in the top left photo.

Seeing responses from this thread, I got the impression orders were being shipped out as they were received by ER. Since I ordered rather late, I am assuming I will have to wait more...

I think the official word was they were shipping sometime after Feb. 15th. Some of the early deliveries were orders from the Executive Replicas website.

Trust me these are worth waiting for. The detail is extraordinary.

I was very impressed with mine. The helmet even has the thin rubber lining just on the inside of the visor area and the inside of the helmet is made to look like the padded areas in the back inside of the helmet. They did a really, really nice job on this.

I know Executive Replicas had talked with Mike Scott about the suit and helmet reference. Mike Scott provided the 2001 Clavius suits and helmets for Adam Savage (myth buster fame) that he and astronaut Chris Hadfield wore at the 2015 Comic-Con in California. Adam fabricated his own back and front packs though.

I just got a DHL tracking number from ER on Feb 22nd. I had sent them final payment and shipping info in the first week of Jan 2016- approx 7 weeks ago.

If I remember correctly I ordered these in June or July 2015

Is anyone interested in replacement head sculpts? I messaged with Rocco Tartamella (Sculptor) yesterday and he would be willing to sculpt Dave and Frank if there were enough interest. I for one think more realistic sculpts would take these absolutely over the top. Below are some examples of Rocco's amazing sculpts.

Rocco's work is great. But I think that most of us haven't gotten our figures yet so maybe there will be more interest when we have them in hand.... Also we might need to get some distance to how much we paid for these already ;-)
