Funnily enough, that costume is not actually the one that the Exo-Kira comes in. That's her first uniform style that she only wore from Emissary up to If Wishes Were Horses, whereas the Exo one is more like the second version that she started wearing in The Forsaken.

(I'm not saying that the shoulder stitching and general color choices don't match on both, I just find it worthy of note.)

Hard to believe that's true. I've seen people even just making super-respectful queries get dumped on pretty hard. If you have no forum for the sharing of Real and Accurate supportive info, then how can you be open to it? (I get it, it can be hard to hear what you consider negative feedback. If I were him, I'd have a private FB group of trusted feedbackers. A group of people who don't **** on him, but feel free to bring potential issues to his attention without fear of reprisal.)

Hell even in extreme closeup those black stitches look incredibly fine. I almost think he could have gotten rid of them completely for the 1/6 figure (although a much lighter reddish-brown would have been the better option.)

How about NO stitches, but a printed pattern?

That Quark outfit was AMAZINGLY detailed - so just PRINT the "stitches" and be done with it.

Likeness is looking a lot better than in the promo pics, and they seem to have darkened the area around his eyes more like they should be.

Well I’ve been around for a bit and have more posts throughout this site than I am proud to admit…and I completely agree with that post! Sorry, many of us have different opinions…and no…I have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with EXO-6…looking at my beautiful shelf filled with 1/6 scale Star Trek figures if I actually had anything to do with them I would be so proud that you wouldn’t be able to get me to shut up about it…I love their figures so much that I have pretty much stopped buying anything else so I can make better use of my space and resources!

I feel the same way. Even if it isn't perfect, I think that Kira looks really good. I'll be very happy to add it to my collection

Whatever is wrong with those must be visible in-hand . . . I can't see ANYTHING wrong with them from the photo.

I... have no idea what that implies, other than I'm a big Star Trek fan, have been waiting FOREVER for 1/6 Star Trek after YEARS of seeing Star Wars get all the love from Hot Toys, and want to support this endeavor in any way that I can?

Ha ha... I guess? But as an outsider (as you so... eloquently noted), yeah, this board is pretty damn negative and toxic. I can see why the Exo-6 guys don't bother to post here. I want Exo-6 to be successful, and I don't expect Hot Toys-level head sculpts out of a 2-year old company. I'll take pretty good Star Trek over no Star Trek for another 10 years, thanks...

If you think this forum is toxic, you should see the ones I moderate. My job would be a lot less stressful if those boards were more like this one.
