Okay I caved. Pre-ordered with EXO-6.

I wonder how the approval process works if the actor is unaware that the figure is happening. I guess some actors get likeness-approval and some don't.

Good point. I wonder if there was a general contract signed back in the day that allows Paramount to be able to merchandise characters without getting approval. I know some of the bigger names do need to give their approval (Shatner, the Nimoy estate, Stewart, etc).

Well he could mean that he only just learned of the figure's release, not that it was being made.

I get that idea but I have decided to just ordered as much of the TOS characters that they produce and the various Captains. I already have Burnham, Picard and Janeway. I got Archer, Sisko and Shran on order. I just hope they do the entire bridge crew from TOS, esp Yeoman Rand my personal childhood favorite, for some reason.

Going to rewatch some Shran episodes to see if I really need this in the collection. It's a great looking figure, but I just don't remember enough about the character or whatever his story arc might have been on the show.

He's kind of the best character in that show. Makes my most wanted (in figure form) list from across the franchise.

JohnnyUtah posted this image before, the final product likely will be an improvement over the initial PO images that we have. The hair is what it is, but the facial likeness looks pretty bang on. I have him on order.

I was initially hoping for the light blue outfit to differentiate it more from Seven, but this does look quite good.

Very happy to see this tease, I’m assuming it’s the outfit below but I’m not seeing the belt. Perhaps that’s yet to come.
