I hope EXO will release some photos/videos from Mission Chicago on their website as I suspect most of us won't be able to make the trip. Yeh he said it a couple of pages back, there is going to be a 2 pack with a quick turn around and then a high possibility of single figures but they will have a much higher lead time (I think he said something like 8-10 months due to currently scheduled releases).

I guess I can hope for a single release of some kind ...

This. This and TWOK Spock is what I want. I really hope I can acquire without buying into a package of "other than Spock" figures. These alone, along with other scheduled purchases, are enough to manage already.

That's a great looking sculpt.

Just not on my first choice of outfit for TMP.

The big attraction when the Nanjin/QMx era began was not only being able to collect characters, but also assemble period specific uniforms and ranks. There's something very appealing to me about that.

So with a TMP uniformed Kirk I'd want to wait for a TMP uniformed Spock. The catch is that Nanjin said each figure would have a unique sculpt/expression, so I guess you pass on each one at your peril.

I think I get what Nanjin is doing. Kirk is in the uniform he wears when he first sets foot on the "new" Enterpise. Spock is wearing the robes he wears when he first sets foot on the new Enterprise. I assume we'd be getting "Disco" Bones to go along with them at some point, because that funky outfit with the beard and medallian is how he looked when he first sets foot on the new Enterprise. And I'd be very happy with that. He's capturing moments with the TMP wave, and not necessarily what the characters wore for most of the film.

We can't make a 1/6 refit Enterprise, but surely able to do a 1/6 scale Refit Enterprise commanding chair.

Now, all four are truely together in 1/6 Trekverse in one meaningful setting in your man or woman cave.

The refit chair has interchangable TMP and TWOK command chair upholstery for both TMP and TWOK collectors. The chair will also include high resolution print backdrops for both versions of refit.

Collectors for both TMP and TWOK can switch their display from time to time or according to your Trek movie night theme.

Now, fans can choose to between displaying the 4 when they first met again, or the 4 when they battle with Khan.

I don't think so. They have said they typical pre-order time is 12:00pm EST which is about four hours ago. I wouldn't expect anything until at least the 8th. (Mission Chicago Old Stock Sale and/or TMP 2-Pack)

Although seeing that display really does make me want a TMP Kirk in the white short sleeve shirt now. I never cared for that outfit before, but having that figure seated in the chair would just be freakin awesome.
