Wasn’t there someone who had a problem with receiving a TMP Spock with a bad foot or two left feet or something and it couldn’t be replaced because there was no extra stock ? How did that turn out ?Looks like Nanjin has found yet more stock of TMP Spock, among other figures, for those still waiting. He's advising people are signed up to the newsletter to know when stock goes live. And TMP Kirk, even though I thought they were a UK stock mistake, are now in China, and does not ship to the UK. Oh, the irony
They’re listing on eBay? So its basically an auction. Not really a different situation vs. those already selling a TMP Kirk at exuberant prices.View attachment 633747Fascinating … and “friend” has only two eBay sales and “0” feedback score .
Interesting, I’ve seen them listed for much higher with bids. Whoever snagged it landed a good deal.To be fair the TMP Kirk that sold on eBay didn’t go for much more than the figure originally retailed for.
Looks like the completed listing from Nanjin’s “friend” was only $20 more than the figure originally cost.
I had presumed it was actually a “Buy it Now” listing. Maybe only $ 20 more than original price which is not a terrible markup . But shipping is $ 40. And the real point is that now multiples are suddenly showing up in the hands of Nanjin’s “Friend” when sales were limited to only one or two per customer. Further, some strange rule is in place on eBay where Nanjin’s “Friend” can only list one at a time and can’t resist until each prior one is “shipped“To be fair the TMP Kirk that sold on eBay didn’t go for much more than the figure originally retailed for.

Breakfast Club reference perhaps?Yes, a friend. They live in Canada, you wouldn't know them.
Yeah. There are lots of auctions where it will show “x” amount available on the listing. I looked up some information and eBay won’t allow you to do multiple separate auctions because they want to allow other sellers to have visibility in search results.Yeah, I've never heard of a rule like that, and I've posted several "Buy It Now" auctions. If you have more than one of an item available, you can post it by quantity, and buyers can just buy away till that quantity is gone. It's almost like they're trying to hide how many they have available.
Similar to the additional quantities of Seven suddenly being available. It makes me think of the poster here whose Seven figure had that weird pull in the stitching on her suit, right between her- I mean, in the middle of her chest . Wasn't he (rudely) told there were none available for replacement?
I was thinking the kid in Stranger ThingsBreakfast Club reference perhaps?
That’s right, there was a quote like that in Stranger Things too!I was thinking the kid in Stranger Things
Yeah. Not a Picard but a damn good likeness to Stewart. The two Picard figures we’ve gotten aren’t near that level. I like the ones we have for what they are but that’s next level.Looks like that would be for a Logan version of Professor X.
