Nope, she was killed off screen.

That second pic should have them both as force ghosts, that's what was keeping Qui Gon so busy during the Obi Wan show.

I felt the same with what they did to Picard in Picard S1. I guess they figured that it was the end of the line for the TOS crew and they figured “what the hell, let’s do this”. They pulled the same with Data in Nemesis and that was devastating, yet 20+ years later we had a TNG reunion. Crazy.

Have you watched Picard S3? Without giving anything away, there’s a scene that references Kirk which lead us to believe that the events in Generations may not be the end of his story.

In the literature written by Shatner he is resurrected

I like Generations. Always have had a soft spot for it. I know people don’t like Kirk’s death but to me it works. He at least goes out in a heroic fashion and the death has stuck (not counting the sequel novel).

I also like the blending of TOS to TNG even though I wish it could have involved more characters. Still though the parts with Kirk and Picard are satisfying to me. They work well together and I would have liked to have seen more of them teaming up.

The Nexus storyline also is kind of interesting if a bit flawed. Data having the emotion chip installed makes for some fun moments.

Maybe a lot of the reason I like it is because I remember seeing it in the theater when I was like ten years old with my dad, grandpa, uncle, and I think one of my cousins. I also had (still own actually) it on VHS (my only movie I had on tape in widescreen format) so watched it quite a bit that way.

Got notice from Sideshow today that they will finally be shipping my Data soon. Final payment is scheduled for Thursday. The bridge furniture I made will finally have some company.

This isn't meant to sound sarcastic but any reason you don't order direct from EXO-6? They ship out way sooner.

I prefer not to pre-order direct from smaller companies because if the company goes bankrupt, whatever money was paid is just gone. If I instead order from a large stable middleman, if a company evaporates, I get my money back. Made that mistake with Big Chief Studios and that's hundreds of dollars I will never get back. Ninjin does not give me the impression of stable businessman. While there is no indication of exo-6 currently being in any sort of trouble, and I hope they continue to thrive, it gives me more peace of mind to order from an established distributor. I will occasionally order in-stock items direct because the time between money paid and item shipped will be short, but if I want to pre-order, I'll usually go with places like BBTS & sideshow.

Makes sense, sorry to hear you lost money with BCS. I was really looking forward to the continuation of their Bond line.

Pike is cool and all but Strange New Worlds take place in a separate multi-verse (in my mind, completely unconnected in any reality) because it's a bit too silly to put with TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT. If I was a millionaire though... Fantastic sculpt!
