A Starfleet uniform Q would be cool. We’ll see what happens I guess. Seems like it would be an easy figure to do. All they would need to make is a regular John de Lancie sculpt.

Yeah just head swap with a TNG Picard and it is done.

That is true. I forgot he is doing true 1/6. I am so used to generic measurements.

I’m curious what folks think of the TNG Picard sculpt & jacket.

I think the quality of the sculpt is amazing, but i’m not sold on the expression.

On the jacket, i’m wondering why we didn’t get the leather-like material that Exo-6 teased in his captains mash up.

There were two different versions of that jacket, and Nanjin's going with the one which had more of a soft felt on top instead of leather (like you see in this shot from Disaster) probably because it's just easier to produce.

The first version, the leather-topped one, only appeared in "Darmok", the softer suede version replaced it almost immediately - apparently because Stewart didn't like the smell of the leather. So, the second version - while arguably less iconic - certainly appeared more often which makes it a 'better' candidate for the figure.

I think it looks fantastic and was my favourite reveal from the show. But I'm a TNG freak so I'm a little biased.

Nice, thanks for the responses! I've rewatched TNG in it's entired probably 6 times in my life now, but I never noticed the switch from leather on the jacket.
