I would have gone for making the hair browner, or at least adding brown highlights to the hair, but that's just me, I guess. It looks good all the same.
Thanks. That sounds great. I read somewhere something about Nanjin saying there will be only 5 TWOK figures. I guess these 3 plus Saavik & Kahn will be it.We're getting Kirk, Spock and Bones from TWOK. Kirk and Bones are supposed to have the away jacket just like Saavik does.
I think the plan is for someone to take over after Nanjin but who really knows. Seems like some weird gimmick he does. One minute he's "extending his role for an additional 6 months" because a figure took overly long to make, the next minute he can't wait to quit.
Lack of empathy?Guys
Don’t take one word of his as gospel. The guy is a salesman. Didn’t he say his secret club would be where Kang will be sold “ as a limited “ release? Well, we now all know it was never a limited secret release. Come back to this post when Gorn is released but I guarantee you he will not release Gorn in his secret club when Gorn is up.
As for when he will quit, he is not leaving EXO anytime soon. He has a good business model now but it took him about a decade to get to where he is now with the factories, licensing etc.
I’m really glad he is at the helm but his constant sales pitch and just lack of empathy I think is what frustrates his die hard customers.

Any official word ever on TVH or TSFS? Sarek appears on those 2. Sarek is a relevant character, going a long way back. The mind meld in Kirk's appartment is one of the best scenes in the whole franchise, and the Katra Ceremony, with the Bird of Prey flying over Vulcan.... OMG..... TSFS is a great movie, best one to me, because of its spiritual mood, moving character moments & great music. To me, together w/ WOK and TVH they form 1 single movie, parallel to the SW trilogy (explosive 1st, sad 2nd, comedic 3rd).
Looks fantastic. Will he be repainting your T'Pol as well? I think she was in even more dire need.
Who is doing the repaint for you?
Nothing beats those 3 films. It is ST Humanism at its purest. Special Effects competing w/ the script in terms of meaningfulness & effortlessly achieving the real goal: a timeless suspension of disbelief that allows the plot to unfold. Then, there is James Horner (RIP), and the screenwriters & actors of yore.... Lots of substance all across the board. You're very welcome
Besides Kruge I don't believe we're getting anything from TSFS, TVH or TFF. There was talk of Sybok but then he mentioned ditching that idea.
I also love the "Genesis" trilogy of II, III and IV
I am not satisfied with Exo6 heads, but they are the best there is, I guess.

He's very communicative on facebook and will answer a lot of questions but doesn't do well with any criticism.Nothing beats those 3 films. It is ST Humanism at its purest. And the story is so relevant still today: friendship, old age, death, loss, 2nd chances, unchecked technology advancements...... (cough AI cough).......
The older this 80s movies get, the more plain it is to see how intellectually mediocre all media & audiences have become. No more Victor Hugos, Tolkiens, Welles, Lucas, Spielbergs, Ridleys, etc. And I'd daresay that each time some movie gets close to that degree of depth, it flops. Dredd & Ellusium come to mind.
Anyway..... Is there any means to actually interact w/ Nanjin?
Does he come around here often? Does he interact on Facebook?
Does he actually consider cases for figures to be done?
Thx.
