I'm incredibly new to all of this so I appreciate all of the information that you have all gathered here, it has proved to be very helpful! It's been impossible to find information about this stuff anywhere else.

I wanted to ask if there is anything that I should be aware of when it comes to the TWOK McCoy, Kirk, and Spock figures? They're really the only figures that I am interested in but judging by how everyone speaks about them it seems to be more or less a bit of a waiting game? Also is there a possibility that they are just never released?

As a newcomer to all of this, any information would be appreciated!

Exo-6 TWOK figures were originally announced for "Summer 2023", on the company's YouTube channel.
It appears McCoy Pre-orders will be this year!

I'd settle for him finishing TWOK figures before 2030

Only really need the TNG and TWOK chairs now.

Hope we can get both Enterprise Captains chair for Kirk, and the *Reliant Captains chair (battle damaged) for Khan.
I need those two facing off.

At the current rate, Trump will be out of office before Kirk will be out assuming the old fans are still collecting figures LOL

My hunch is they are all ready but he doesn’t want to release them yet because he is concerned the other maroon line might not sell well with the two main figures released

Saavik sold great. So is Captain Sulu. I believe any maroon uniform figure will sell very well.

Agreed. One would think he would release a character then a major character from the cast like Kirk, Spock, McCoy etc. I honestly don't understand his logic, but I'm so glad to get the figures.

It’s not too hard to understand. He is trying to sell as many figures as he can on a limited budget. So in order to maximize the number of units he can sell, he teases us with a few Monster Maroons that we’ve been dying for but with lesser characters. This makes us scratch our heads and think “well, this might not be a character that’s very high on my list, but she’ll look great when I can display her with the rest of the cast, and she does look dam pretty good, here’s my money.”

Conversely, if he just releases the Big Three for TWOK or TUC right off the bat, he knows (and we know) there are and awful lot of us (dare I say MOST of us?) who would scoop up those highly desired handful of figures of the main cast and then be done with the line. It’s aggravating and frustrating a lot of the time, but he also needs the sale of those supporting figures to build capital for what will have to be an absolutely ENORMOUS run of the TWOK/UDC main cast in those Maroon beauties. Because if he runs out of them before he can get them to 99% of us Trek enthusiasts and 1/6 addicts, he knows we’d storm the gates!!

Qui-Gon's assessment is accurate, but I also imagine he wants to start producing McCoy and Kirk's away team jackets before putting them up for pre-order, so that they don't have a long window from order to delivery.

But Spock does not need an away jacket, so I'm hoping we get him sooner than later.

Yeah the monster maroons have never been as much of a grail for me as others here, and I've always been looking forward to the TNG and DS9 figures just as much.

You're probably a younger guy. I'm into TOS and classic crew movies. However, I am a fan of the other series as well. Not discovery.

I'm 51 and grew up on those as well, but probably did geek out the most with TNG and DS9.

I'm 63. Cut my teeth on TOS and movies. I too totally geeked out in the late 80's and 90's when NG was on. Once DS9 and Voyager was one. The world was on fire with Trek. I was the Captain of an IFT " International Federation of Trekkers" charter in Indiana with over 100 members locally. Good times.
