EXO-6 Star Trek "TOS" Figures (The Original Series)

Well it would be one thing if S31 was just for alternate outfits (like a Spock's Brain jumpsuit) or 4th tier characters only a small group would be interested in, which seemed to be the original idea. But putting more important or iconic characters in there like Kor or the Romulan Commander is a different matter, and I think will just create lots of frustration and bruised feelings among collectors.

Yeah, I'd much rather for characters like that he just charges what he needs in order to make a profit, a'la Kruge.

Just saw this on FB. Purported to be an early proto of the Exo-6 Gorn.

For a proto, that looks pretty spot on. They did a great job with the elbow and knee joints as well.

Yeah I think the sculpt is spot on. Probably needs to be a brighter green though, and I would have preferred an outfit with some of that gold flake on it instead of just a dull printed pattern.

Thinking the "gloves" should be a dark red not pink. The EXO sculpt seems to include the stone knife but I am curious if they will include the belt mounted recording device. However otherwise the figure looks good and I will be ordering it.

They look good. I'm a bit too young (oh god wait a minute... I'm 40...) to appreciate TOS outside of it's iconic looks and cultural significance. If I got the figures it would be the movie ones.
But still, I'm happy for TOS fans and these look GREAT. (The show is just too slow/weird for me to watch! But no hate!).

I'm the only one thinking the Kirk sculpts look a little weird/off? The motion picture one is so good, to me these don't look as good a likeness (tbf from these blurry shots and probly not final) - from front on the green tunic one looks pretty good but a bit gaunt/hollow or something? and the profile view looks plain odd. Yellow tunic sculpt also I dunno, bit off around the eyes, face shape too pointy or something, maybe it's the lighting. Hey I'm no expert I just would've hoped they'd be as good as TMP, hope I don't regret passing on it

I really wish they would nail the Jeffrey Hunter Pike, because who else ever will? Is there no Talosian on display? (unless it's one of the figures under the little sheets, but why do that for those) because originally (loong time ago) they were supposed to be comng and if the TOS Pike comes out good I'd like to get him and one of those. I know I may be in a minority lol.

You’re not the only one - I’m actually more impressed with Spock and Sulu over either of these Kirk’s.

Obviously these will continue to be refined but there’s definitely something off with the eyes. They look too squinty.

You're not the only one. Kirk needs work; McCoy & Spock look terrific.
You're not in the minority regarding "Cage" Pike. Needs to come with the navy "away jacke", tho. No Idea what that belt contraption is, that he's wearing there

I think the over lighting is not helping and I would bet Kirk looks much better with normal lighting.
