Yeah, again I don’t think it had to be limited. It’s a version of Spock. People are likely going to want it. It at least could have had more than 500 pieces.

I’m curious if the figures will be numbered or if it’ll be like the QMX Khan where it’s stated as being an edition size of 1,000 but no markings to indicate which number you have.

I doubt the packaging will even mention that the edition is 500 pieces in size.

The Cage is interesting, but owning figures from it is not. At least for me. I really just want the poster crew. All the poster crew - even ones I already have made by QMx, because having the uniforms being slightly but noticeably off is going to bug me in a display. Glad those that want it can get it though.

Agreed. In fact with those sharply angled eyebrows, this really looks more like a WNMHGB Spock than a Cage one. And once again it makes me wonder what reference were they using for this sculpt...

I preordered this. But as others have said I hope they update the headsculpt to look more like the make-up /prostetics and hairstyle unique to The Cage. This just looks like typical TOS Spock sculpt to me.

That sculpt has been sitting around for years. Voldemort used his limited edition panic marketing and it worked for a figure of a character from a rejected pilot.

A rejected pilot that introduced an icon of the science fiction genre and spawned a franchise that is still going strong 60 years later.
I might be passing on it because I can't just buy everything willy-nilly, but it's easy for me to see why so many people would be anxious to have this.
