So I'm just starting this game. I have decided to be a completely evil ^^^^^^ (female). For fable 1 I played the goody two shoes hero. It's a little tougher when you're evil, it would seem, as everywhere I go I'm disliked or thrown in jail. Is playing an evil character more difficult in Fable 2?

absolutely!! i am not really an rpg fan and i loovveed this game!! it was so much fun!

great story! great gameplay!! i was actually surprised at how much fun i had with this game!! i could not stop playing it!

I know, I know, really old game here, but I'm having a problem. I put the game down and getting back to it. Just finished the crucible a couple nights ago and last night I was playing and I was in an interactive cut scene, and I "wondered" away from the main NPC and now I'm stuck in that scene. I can approach enemies who highlight in red, but I can't draw my gun, sword, or cast any spells. It was cool at first as an explorer mode, but got old soon enough and turned off the console and went to bed. Tonight, it started up in same buggy mode. This happen to anyone else here? I'm just googling it and looks like its a known bug.

I played through the whole game and I don't think I ever ran into that bug. Not really sure if I've heard about it either. I know it would really suck but if it doesn't go away, your only option may be to delete your game and start over.

Damn man, I just spent the past x minutes reading the first 4 or 5 google links. Looks like this is a very common bug and "Lionhead" hasn't done anything to fix it. And the threads I'm reading are dated 2008. This really sucks. I can't even acces the option or weapon screen. When I push "start" it pauses, like it does in a scene. So I can't even fast travel to anywhere. I'm not starting this game over. Guess I'll walk to the next closest village and see what happens. Fug

Damn, I'm sorry man. If I was in your position I know I would be just as pissed. It's just ridiculous that Lionhead hasn't done anything to fix it.

I know there was a few bugs in that game but I guess I just got lucky that I didn't run into any. I assumed they would have fixed them all by now anyway. Is this your second time through the game or have you not finished it once yet?

yeah, I'm totally ^^^^ed now. A few suggestions I heard was to try and plug in second controller, and coax your main charcater out with gestures. This didn't seem to be my exact situation, but tried it anyway and couldn't enter another controller as the scene is completely stuck like it is a cut scene, i.e. PAUSE only. So I leave towards one edge of the map, which unfortunately I can no longer access to guide me, reach a door, recommended to press "A" to enter, and when I press "A," the scene pauses.

So I head in other direction to edge of map, meet up with my viking fighting chick Helga, walk into a dead end, and Helga (or whatever her name is) is now blocking the way I just came in.

So I'm stuck in this room/hall. Just me, some crates and blankets, candles... HELGA......... and the inability to do a damn thing other than pause the scene.


I'm so pissed that I invested a good 30 hours into this game and I can't move past this piont. I'm about to write a ^^^^^ letter that will probably just be laughed at and spit on by the dudes working at lionhead or whatever friggin company would put out a piece of crap game without ever any intention of software updating WELL KNOWN bugs.
