And I agree it would be really hard to top the IW Bucky sculpt, it is top notch!!
The Falcon sculpt is good also but has more room for improvement IMO, but they will probably just add some facial hair to the CW version and call it a day.

Thanx! Yeah, I hope HT doesn't change sculpts for the worse; and also hope they are re-engineering Falcon's wings so we get more wing positions. Since they probably are going to up-charge anyway - IW Bucky wasn't THAT cheap and figure Falcon will be over 300$ this time.

Agreed.
And yes, the one thing I don?t like about my CW Falcon is that it is sort of limited regarding positioning of the wings. More specifically I wish there were more options for having the wings down. There was a post a long time ago where someone said how they modified the wings so that they could be down further. That said I think he had two sets of wings so he could afford to be bold with one pair I suppose.

I'll wait for Falcon's eventual CA uniform. But I'm due for another Bucky figure. The only one I have is the CA:TWS version. Hopefully this one comes with just as many accessories.

I was originally looking forward to the HT US Agent figure, but seeing as how HT seems to love this new cheap vinyl material (used on IW/EG Cap) instead of fabric, it's doubtful I'll pick it up then.

Yeah, I'm no fan of the pebbly texture feels-like-a-shower-curtain plastic canvas - or whatever it is - that HT started using. It's not like you can't tell, and IMO cheapens the fig.

Bucky will have a pleather jacket from the looks of it - something I will have to put up with I guess.

Yeah, and try finding an inexpensive pair of wings parted out to work with $$$$$. But, I feel like picking up this Falcon will be a given. I can justify it by passing on Wanda and Vision - happy enough with the SWs and Vision I already own.

I'm planning on picking up a 3D printer with my stimmy money, and I might take a crack at engineering and building a new set of wings. Have to wait to see what the final HT product/Falcon suit looks like.

If I do I'll provide the .stl for free to the board.

US Agent is basically a Captain America figure, the only difference is in name. You can guarantee yourself HT will make a US Agent fig...the only question that remains is will it be good enough for G$ to buy?

Gotta wait and see...but I'd be in for Sharon, Zemo, Bucky and Falcon - depending. Am a lot more cautious than the good 'ol days of Civil War when it felt like I was buying - everything. With no regrets.

But - guess I'll miss the window of opportunity to sell my CW Falcon for $1,000 if 'bay prices are anything to go by.

Yeah, tho I get it re the story. Real world and grounded; especially with Bucky trying to re-assimilate into the world I guess. They could at least ink his eyes up and give him a big rifle....but I'm willing to wait and see. Stan had hinted way back the arm has some unknown capabilities; and it's early.

Worst case since Bucky is my fav character, I've got plenty of his figs. Extra weapons and knives. Could walk away and be covered...tho I would be happy to add Sharon and Zemo to the collection, no matter what.

Yeah, tho again, story-wise, I get where they are going - Spellman (writer) has given some nice interviews about the thought process for the script. The whole arc may not have attention-grabbing costumes except for John Walker.

Edit: Bucky's jacket actually has a pretty complicated construction - can add 50$ to the fig cost right there. Also HT cheap zippers that don't zip

So just finished my viewing of TFAWS and it is freakin' awesome! I'm loving it wayyyyy more than WandaVision and that's not a knock per se...just this more realistic grounded approach to shows is more my cup of tea.

Anyways I'm happy to report that those who are a fan of..

The Winter Solider look from TWS will be pleased that it's used again in a flashback sequence! So that means HT MIGHT actually do a 2.0 of that look! Granted it didn't have the smokey black eyes, but still...here's a chance for an upgrade!

Also side note, Wyatt Russell as the new Cap just looks funky...he looks goofy with his big 'ol ears and his baby face...I dunno, we only got a quick shot of him, hopefully he'll look better...

Ditto. Very very happy with the approach to 2 of my fav MCU characters (was also thinking of fig possibilities). Feel a whole lot better after my *issues* with IW and EG And while Wanda and Vision are in my upper character tier, along with BW and Loki, my holy trinity is Cap-Falcon-Bucky.

Was so *&&^$ when the episode was done. But will re-watch anyway.

As someone who bought a CW Falcon off the bay for about $700 about two years ago, I can honestly say I'm still glad I did. It's one of my favorite figures and represents his IW/EG appearance for me. I wasn't collecting Marvel until Infinity War so had to pay a premium to have Sam in my collection. I don't think I'll replace him with a version from this show even though I'm loving it so far. I like the CW look quite a lot... But yeah, GMoney, I would lose my a$$ if I sold him now anyway!

Actually that amount isn't THAT bad; loosely my cut-off is 2x original retail; and as I remember Falcon was one of the pricey CW figs at the time.

The other thing - just seems like re-sell fig prices are WAY up, as well as less available. I used to be able to get some good deals, time to time - like for my used battle-damaged Cap. Now the prices, especially for the more desired figs, just seem way up there. Parts too.

It's been going on for a while re prices; feel like all I can do is hunker down over my *stash* of earlier figs and be happy. But these days, I don't wait for long when a fig is announced. I think it won't be better later, at all.

But, hafta wait and see what HT comes up with. I have enough MCU, I could pass. The longer and longer wait times suck. But I'm weak about my fav characters.

Enjoyed the first episode...good solid start. There's nothing I've seen thus far that I'd want in 1/6...but it's very early days and no doubt I'll have a wish list by the time the show has finished.
